  Wow, I did not realise this thread was still going on.

  jgnat, hopefully your hubby will choose life, over darkness. Earlier this year, the Blood issue came up again...only this time it was with my new wife (who was never a JW, but did study). She has cancer and after a big surgery -- she had developed an infection and her blood count dropped to the floor. Her skin was pale and grey, she was listless and weak...she looked - exactly - like my mom did as she lay dying.

  When the docs told us she would need blood and "...would she accept one...?" I had a horrible flashback...to those other times. But, My Sweet Lady instantly and vigorously says: : "Yes, of course ! Who wouldn't ??" I was overjoyed.

  As this Miracle Blood worked it's magic...I saw it re-animate her. I saw a light red come into her cheeks, then, her fingers wiggled a little. After awhile she got open her eyes and smiled at me. Then, she could squeeze my fingers. I watched my mom die - then watched My Sweet Lady come back from the brink -- guess which one was the best experience ?

  So,Blood has entered my life 3 times -- how about the rest of you ?

  Been sick...just woke up and read a (very) little. I don't know, but I had some really, really wild dreams about gold bars, the next president and all about Jesus' wife. Her name was Maryanne, they took a 3 hour tour of the Red Sea. And, they shipwrecked. Luckily...Jesus (who can walk on water...towed them home) the professor, the millionaires, the captain, Gilligan, and the movie star were all saved.

  It just all seemed SO real. I hope everyone believes in me, but I doubt they will...I'm just not famous or have enough charisma.

  But, remember this -- I'll have to kill everyone --- who doesn't believe in my dream -- one of these centuries...

  Sadly...I'll bet they have "clean consciences", too.

  My ex-wife and I refused blood on one of our newborns, since she lived, it was a 'divine miracle' we were 'Kingdom Hall Heroes'... See...years later I know it wasn't actually our 'Faith' that saved her. It was really very smart doctors.

  Sadly...my ex is still proud of our almost fatal decision and I am racked with guilt just thinking -- "I would have just let her die, over this insane cult."

  Later...my JW mom would die over this same stupid, insane teaching...
