by Sunspot inthink about this.........23,720 innocent little lambs, those that are jesus' precious lambs......have been sexually abused and mistreated.. that is a shocking number isn't it, considering the watchtower claims to be the only religion approved by god himself!
it is appalling to say the least!
besides that, the mere fact that it took one unsuspecting person to stumble onto and "uncover" this filthy secret file and expose it....is disturbing.

This is truly attrocious! And to think; I was knocking on doors to discuss the contemptable behaviors of the Catholic church and their priests; all the while the same thing was going on in the religion I was representing. I am angry that I was made into a hypocrite by the organization... had to keep those service hours up! I am feeling a bit sick and woozy by the 20,000 number, but to hear it is more likely tripple?!? I'm having major problems with the process of forgiveness and moving forward. How can this be forgiven? I can see that it is not up to me to forgive the abusers... I don't want that responsability, but I will need to forgive the organization for covering over such a hidious attrocity in order to move forward with my life and not hold feelings of resentment that could prevent me from seeing the beauty and love that surrounds me in my life. I don't know how anyone is going to be able to do that... especially the victims and their families. My heart truly goes out to each and every one of the 60,000+ that have been victimized not only by their abusers, but also by the very organization that was supposed to keep them safe and protected.

Little Freedoms
by cruzanheart innow that you're no longer a jw, do you wish people "good luck" or say "bless you" when they sneeze?
wish people a "happy easter" voluntarily and not just mumble "same to you" when they wish it to you?
i do, and every time i do i get a little thrill and smile to myself because it's just one more thing i now have the freedom to do, and it's a little thing but i think it shows care and respect for my fellow humans.

Wow, thanks SaintSatan. I didn't scroll down yet, but I will. I understand that there are phenomonal physical and metaphysical as well as "paranormal" developments that occur with the awakening of Kundalini, and I feel that my careful exploration will guide me as to when I'm ready to undergo that massive of a spiritual transformation. I'm getting there; I appreciate the head's up. Already the one book that I have, I don't like, I'll tell you why some time.

You're right! Meth is bad stuff. I was stuck for 6 mos... I went with it for awhile, but it got really miserable, really fast. I just happened to remember to pray the way I was taught during one of my hearfelt expressions to My Higher Spirit and the Divine Universe. That night that my prayer was answered I said "...Jehovah, if you're out there" I hadn't prayed to Jehovah in over 11 years at that time. Then when I was closing, I said my usual "by all the power of 3 times 3, to not come back or cause harm on me, blessed be, blessed be, blessed be... Oh, yea, In Jesus' name, amen".
I was "rescued" by fate? destiny? pregnancy... whatever just days later.
Anyway, for those who wanna know more about Tantra, yes, it is intensly spiritual in nature. It is the use of sexual energy to open up and stimulate the chakras resulting in transformative ecstatic states of being. It's awesome, I practice as often as possible. I'm also looking forward to exploring the use of Ch'i energy in a practice of Tai Ch'i, and am exploring the idea of dabbling in some kundalini awareness type exercises...
I'm rambling. Better go smp.
