Ohh {{{{{{countrygirl}}}}} I am so sorry. Sorry that you found out the way you did and sorry your and your beautiful brothers had to go through this and to have effected you all your whole lives is unbelievable and also unfair. Hope you do catch up with him and it starts the healing process for you. I cant even imagine what you must be going through.

at 5 a.m. tonight, my jw brother, who is dying from a very rare disease, tells me that he was molested by the same guy that molested me.
he also hints around that our brother, who is dead, was molested.

I agree with you to some extent. You have to remember though that the world was a very different place when those greats were creating their comedy and life was also different. Maybe what is funny is how innocent life was back then. Everything they did was fresh and new and hence funny but now "nothing new is under the sun". There is not as much that is innocent or funny these days. SOme of the funniest lines I have heard come from characters who speak truth such as George out of Sienfeild. Some of his lines still make me laugh because I identify with them easily. Such as his imortal singing message about "believe it or not George isn't at home". Or the line "I am without speech, I have nothing to say". Stuff like that is still funny. I also like the new comedians although I dont understand a lot of what they are talking about being Australian we have very different humour styles! But I love Abbott and COstello, Lucille Ball, Laurel and HArdy and heaps of others of the old ones!

Off to sunny Queensland and boring Berri
by Purple injust thought i would wish you all an early happy easter.
i am off in the next couple of days on holdidays to queensland to the gold coast then for easter i am going to the riverland to berri to spend easter with my dad.
so as i wont be back on line till after then i thought i would say think of me whilst your at work, sunning myself, playing, partying and hopefully finding some umm "termporary" male friends and breaking the 14 year drought!

Umm I didn't do the quiz and saw this thread last week and scouffed. However I had an interesting experience this weekend and realised I was i love with someone. I mean really in love. like I have honestly never felt like this about anyone. I know after something that happened today he doenst feel anything for me but friendhsip but that's ok. I would rather have him as a friend than not have him at all in my life. So yes I do and I hionestlynever thought I would ever love anyone again. Now I really do know that I didnt ever love my x and that I am an ugly cow that no one will ever love again.

Okay, this is just weird, but what do you think?

i was reading some information lately on how ancient people might have viewed alien visitation in their lives.
many people figure that this might be something viewed as gods and perhaps some of the legends or even the highest religious books, are based some visitations from other worlds.

The story goes something like this mad old god named RA ran slave colonies and sent one to earth and earth rebelled and he has been trying to get back at earth ever since!
