I'm with Mouthy on this one. I can now have good friends who are the kind of people I used to look down on. I don't judge them anymore, besides, I really wasn't any better than they were. I've come to find out that beautiful people are out there. I also say "Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday" to the kids on my school bus and the guilty feeling is finally gone. Wow! What a relief!

I feel guilty for putting my aunt in the treatment center for alcohol and refusing to take her home. I have taken care of her for awhile now, and I love her.......I hope she can forgive me......

it is 81 degrees today.
all the fruit trees will bloom and then freeze, if it is like a normal spring here.

I live in upper Minnesota and early this week we actually had rain. Now tomorrow they're telling us we could get 6 inches of snow. Ugh. I wish it was 81 degrees!

Thank you for all your caring comments. And thank you for helping me to see that I would be enabling her by allowing her to come home and continue her behavior. I found out today that she will be going into treatment for awhile and then into an adult foster home or assisted living home.....They interviewed her and she also has suicidal thoughts, not something I can deal with. If I come home from the job and find her dead....I will totally flip out.
Thank you patio34 for reminding me of the four c's. This is something I should write down and say to myself.
The only thing I can do now is try to find the inner peace that I desperately need and come to grips with the decision I made. I hope someday she will see that I love her and didn't abandon her. Again...thank you all.

When you don't have much family left because they are all lost in the religion, you hang on to the family you have. I take care of my aunt (who is only 2 years older than I am). She is a drug addict and alcoholic. She comes from down south and lost her whole family because of her addictions. She has been getting worse over the last year living here by sneaking booze and cough syrup. She ended up in the hospital, skin and bones and has diabetes. All the social workers tell me not to take her home because it will not help her. She needs help. She needs 24 hour supervision, something I cannot give her. I have always thought of her as a sister of mine. I love her so much. I made the decision yesterday to not bring her home....ever.....my heart is broken. I know I did the right thing, but I cannot have peace with myself. She will kill herself if I don't help her.........

The Spiritual Raping of a Witness
by Blueblades infrom diane wilson's, "awakening of a jehovah's witness", page 265.. the society says:"rape flourishes in societies that tolerate violence and sexual manipulation.
" ( aw 3--8--93, p.4 ) what a striking parallel to "spiritual rape", which flourishes in a society that tolerates spiritual abuse and mind manipulation!.
the spiritual raping of a witness.. an organization.promises:problems are things of the past!

It's so scarey to see you put this in writing. Every word is true.
