How has this board changed over the years?
by Strawberryfieldsforever inbecause i haven't been here too long, i was wondering what this forum was like a couple of years ago.
the reason i'm asking is that i've been noticing alot of new ones joining.
has that always been the case or does it seem like they are increasing more rapidly now?

Being publicly reproved
by Strawberryfieldsforever inyears ago my husband and i were publicly reproved.
we had gone out with some "worldly friends" from work and went dancing and had a few drinks too many.
well someone must have been around to see us and told the elders.

How long does it take?

Whats wrong with windows?
by Strawberryfieldsforever ini was wondering why all the newly built kingdom halls don't have windows anymore!
i remember going to the hall in the 70's and we had lots of windows.
then they started building them without.

On the night before my wedding.....
by Strawberryfieldsforever inon the night before my wedding, my mom came into my room with the talk.
she said she knew i probably knew all about the wedding night, but did i have any questions?
she then told me to remember one thing tho...that you aren't to touch it.

Remember traveling to the conventions
by Strawberryfieldsforever ini remember years ago when my mom and i would travel great distances to the week long conventions.
we always had to travel with another sister whos husband was also "unbelieving".
anyway, her daughter and i would put the watchtower and awake mags in the back window to show everyone who we were.

Who is leading this organization?
by Strawberryfieldsforever inwhen i was still a jw, i thought that god was really working through these men at the wts.
i trusted them and i believed everything they printed to us.
now that i am out for so many years and can stand back and look at the organization without a brainwashed mind, i really wonder who runs this.

Jury duty???
by Strawberryfieldsforever ini was just wondering if jury duty was considered taking part in the world.
i just found out that my mom had jury duty a few months ago and went!
i've never been a registered voter and thought you had to register to be called to jury duty.

Growing up in a divided household
