  How many early Christians?

  i was wondering for about a week or so, if anyone has done any research on the number of early christians?

  last week i looked up the number of anointed still on earth and in 1935 there were 52 465. using that number you have to assume that about 91 500 slots are left open for early christians, who the wt says were all anointed, and any others who still need to be found in the past, and or future.

  if we can add up all of the numbers some how it would either be more, or less then the magic 144 000. what that number honestly is, i imagine would be quite telling about the doctrine regarding this magic 144 000. .

  Watchtower play on words

  i was looking at the aug 1, 2004 watchtower which discusses government, and on page 6 it basically states that the jw?s provides volunteer relief during times of disaster.

  it points to earth quakes in el salvador in 2001 where the world wide brother hood sent not only relief but the jw?s built/repaired over 500 homes and 3 (here is the key phrase) houses of worship.

  ok sounds great right, how noble a gesture.

  Dutch Reform and unvaccinated

  in southern ontario canada at the moment there is an outbreak of german measles, mostly among a sect of christian who for religious reasons refuse vaccines.

  currently there are over 120 people with the measles, most of which are children.

  there is now evidence of one man who has been vaccinated catching the illness.

  Same sex marriage and religion

  from cbc.ca news ?many of the groups opposed to same-sex marriage are concerned about their freedom of religion, fearing ministers from churches opposed to gay marriage would be forced to perform same-sex ceremonies.

  the tird question on the reference is meant to deal with their concerns.?

  the issue of same sex marriages are being debated in canada?s top court starting today.
