in my old congregation, everyone seems clean.
mostly chaste courtship, kingdom hall wedding, blah blah.. well there are lots of cases of fondling but they were soon forgotton.
when my husband and i confessed to sex before marriage, the elders were disgusted.
Every single couple in my circle of friends a couple years ago either were privately reproved or dfd before or after they were married except for a few that were widely know to have been messing around and just never confessed to anyone.
It was a large group of people and it includes several pioneer couples and elders kids.
i read in a european ex jw forum that this year they are making a special effort to invite not only the inactive but also a special effort is made to invite all disfellowshipped.

i don't know if this as always been a common practice, or something started anew so they can boast about the numbers of attendees..
it is rather clear that the internet is to put it mildly, wrecking the world of the watchtower bible & tract society.
if not for foreign language i doubt there would be much growth at all.. digital trends and analytics are very real.
i live this analytics world i assure you to some degree you can take it to the bank.

We relate this to the governing body and the watchtower but every religious organization that is looked up to by any follower base turns the scriptures into whatever they want as well through any variety of connections, some with context usage, some without.
JWs are a Cult and religion is mind control. The bible is a fairy tale.
it is very obvious that jehovah's witlesses worship the faithful and discreet slave.
during last sunday's washtowel study, everyone bowed before them for the excellent job they did in translating the new bible into so many languages and for the direction they give to the congregation.
(i guess i sorta thought that jesus was in charge of the congregations.
i know this sounds like a ridiculous question but i was talking with my mom in the car today and of course we got on the topic of getting babtized again.
she told me that jehovah holds me accountable for my sins regardless of wether i am babtized or not so i have no reason to be holding back because it won't change anything.
my parents are the type of super strict jw who will shun you just for not being a witness.
a guy by the name of son of thunder has just uploaded his apostasy trial.
it is really impressive and this guy knows his stuff.
he is very engaging and a pleasure to listen to.

Isn't it always the JW way to try and mock commend first, then after you get em all warm and fuzzy, tell em what they need to do in order to not get murdered by Jesus at Armageddon? (donate money, it's all Jesus wants)
In this case it is more opportunities to "commend" the flock for their donations, explain what has supposedly been done with said donations, and then explain how there is this huge need for more money because of all this work that is left to do and ask for more money but say "we aren't asking" we are just sharing with you this information and you can decide what you want to do with that information.
this took quite a while this evening.
so worth it though.
