  daily text..

  i have a question.... i have looked on a lot of sites but cant find the daily text anywhere... does anyone know if the daily text is found on any of the jehovah's witness sites?

  Were You Treated With Respect When Counseled By The Elders?

  i knew a certain few elders that really got off by "talking down" to the "flock".

  many elders were pretty nice guys but a few could turn----just like that!

  what was your experience with "those taking the lead", the "loving shepherds"???

  I think it depends on the personality of the elder....some are on a real power trip....

  Your worst Watchtower Study ever?

  what article was it when you were a witness that was the most complicated for you to understand?

  i remember that there were a right few beaut's, dad being the wt conductor, of course we had to go through the finer detail getting to the most indepth meaning and how it linked up.

  hmmmmmmm.. what was your worst watchtower study ever then?

  All of them bored me to tears....read paragraph, ask question, answer: re-paraphrase paragraph, maybe read a scripture....

  A goody goody, I hate to admit, did everything by the book....pioneered, married a bethelite...aux pioneered w/my daughter....I kept as involved as I good....but battled depression...so I tried doing more and more, but still battled depression....I think once I was df'd...everyone was in shock...I was the last one anyone would expect....now 9 years later....depression is allll better :)

  Ban on baby strollers at DC's

  ...is that at all the district conventions?.

  did that rule come from the society or from a safety law on the books(fire hazard)?.

  if i take a baby stroller to the dc will i get kicked out?

  You may be able to however bring an umbrella stroller or something that's compact enough to fit under your seat....something to find out....I'm quite sure that may be allowable.

  i was a jw for about 35 years, ms, elder for about 15, pioneer, all of it.

  Are you black or white ? ( just asking)

  please dont take offence but ive just realised something maybe its been touched on before,.but when i was reading the thread on bil cosby i read the one off obviously secret.

  now as i am a white person i assumed he was white until he stated he was black.

  so when i thought about it, i imagine everyone on this site is white, does everyone who is black imagine everyone else is black, and anyone oriental imagine everyone else is oriental.

  not white or black...my skin tone is darker, as well as my eyes and hair...my mother is mexican, my father czech....both of my kids came out fair...blonde and green eyes, blonde and blue eyes....i sometimes get mistaken as the nanny....i'm learning not to get too offended.
