The Watchtower's Version of God
by Ariell init really bugs me when people say we've been brainwashed by the watchtower's version of god, but the fact of the matter is, the bible says what it says.
these acts of silliness, cruelty, and injustice are clearly stated.
jehovah's witnesses aren't the only ones disturbed by things they've read in the bible.

I don't know about you Verginna but the WT did control my desire to think on my own and there by they acted like a cult. They taught me that God is a big god with big feet that is going to stomp the nation and put them in his wine press. Sounds like a loving god to know huh.

I feel very much as Neyank noted in his post. Religion has so much polluted peoples minds that the word truth" in and of its self is in a gray area now when it comes to religion. Humans seem to make the rules of the day when it comes to Jehovah the God of the bible. One thing it seems reasonable is that such a God would have to be full of truth not falsehood with its half truths as religion has so much demonstrated.
I feel that when the biblical God Jehovah reveals himself it will by truth, and it will exhaust present religious ideas about him. Religion is deprived of even the most basic precepts of truth and justice so they could never be perfect in the true sense of the word. Perfection is what most scientist have been searching for they call it perfect (symmetry: beauty as a result of balance or harmonious arrangement") as to how the universe came to be, in other words creation. They are becoming closer and closer to that conclusion that the answer to all things is simply perfection through close association to the creator thoughts and finding his approval.

e-watchman, thoughts from past topic
by confusedjw ini was looking back and a month ago there was a topic about e-watchman and who he was and why he would expose the wt with one side of his mouth and encourage loyalty with the other side.
i wonder if these might be the reasons.... 1. he himself claims to be of the anointed and truly believes he is helping to expose the "evil slave" amongst jehovah's people.. 2. by encouraging loyalty to the wt he doesn't scare away the numberous active witnesses who read his columns and send in questions.
they read and stay in the congregations.

Why do so many people refer to the witness's as "Jehovah's people" if they were Jehovahs people they would not be lied to over the years. Or they refer to the teachings of Jehovah's Witness's as the "truth" if it was the truth it would not need exsplaining as to being seemingly a lie as to the events of the future not coming true. As the Mormons say: to their flock (don't ask questions about secret things.)
