by buffalosrfree inletter read from "our bros in bethel" they want $8.50 per, now for supporting do's and co's, you know that the cost for health insurance and car insurance have gone up yaddy yaddy yaddy.
they as usual are telling the congregations what they want them to donate.

I like your comment about a society of men with no children telling those who do have children how to raise them, how true is that? If you don't have any kids you have no right to tell other people how to raise them it's as simple as that. The reason why lots of elders don't have any kids is so they don't get deleted when their spoiled elder offspring run amok. That's my two cents for tonight.

SeeIt, i like to compare my sense of humor to a hibernating bear, it only comes out in the summer, but there are people that i like talking to, there are some genuine nice people out there but there are also alot of pricks and they're usually in the positions of power, coincidence??? i think not.
Chia, i know of a few shotgun weddings that have fallen apart, but if you're a single baptized guy with half a brain, they put some hard core pressure on you to find yourself a woman but i think it all boils down to the fact that the whole no sex thing makes people get married, then after the newlyweds do it, the whole " That's It????" comes up then the cracks start to show in the marriage. But now adays lots of them are having sex before they get married anyways so what the hell do i know?

Back from school, if there's one thing that i hate about the whole jw experience is the 18 year old jw shotgun wedding. It's something about it that just fills me with disgust. I love the line " I'll take care of ya baby " which at that age pretty much equals " I want to get into your pants " 'cause at 18 you aint taking care of nothing, how many people at 18 are responsible enough to take care of a wife and kids and bring home the bacon??? i don't know too many, but there are people out there and prob alot on this board and i give them mad props yo ( sorry watching 50 Cent ).

Chia, i take it you're still in? Anyways, i totally hear what you're saying Chia, There's lots of community college and trades going down at the kingdom hall, to quote seinfeld " not that there's anything wrong with that " trades are the backbone of the job force. There are two younger brothers at my hall, lets call them fornication guy and flake boy, ( i'll let you think 'bout that for a second), anyways they're both going into trades, and i can see it now, i'll get the comments like " well fornication boy makes it to all the meetings and he's going to schoool, why can't you make it " now because 80 + percent of the people in my hall haven't had post secondary education they have no basis for comparison. It's like comparing apples and oranges, i have shit loads of homework each night, they won't that's just the nature of their area's of study. Needless to say, it's frustrating and i wish i could bring my ipod before and after the meeting so i don't have to listen to anybody's dumb ass comments, and for most of the meeting too except the local needs, for some reason i like the local needs. Anyways, that's my two cents for this morning

I'm studying Engineering, what field? that's a secret for now. Sphere i hear ya, in defense of the awake and i usually don't do this but for third world countries it's ok i mean the awake is the closest thing to an eduacation that most people will get, that's sad because education is such a powerful tool, but i mean we're talking north america????? are we really that dumb?? is this what rap music has done to us????
