I 'm with cappy. All a government has to do is to pass a law making it a capital crime to own a gun. And even if you had a gun, you cannot fight the army or the police. They will get you.

How about making cars illegal? More people are killed by cars than with guns and alcohol too. Tobacco should be outlawed too. Police should go into everyone's house daily and search for anything illegal, forget about privacy and civil rights, It is about public safety. People have too much freedom anyway.

if you shoot and kill a dog that belongs to someone, you could be sued if you shot at it without any physical evidence of being bitten.

Good ole mace. Sad it is not legal. Taser baton will shock a dog away. The cheap pepper sprays they sell on amazon cannot be trusted, propellant dies after a while and pepper is not that strong. I know that mustard spray is strong and not deadly ,but depends on the concentration; Spray it on a dog and it it will know.

Some people are clever to understand that a cop has a gun, club, and other devices, and if they torture or kill you, they will likely get away with it, nothing can bring you back once your dead, nothing will undo the torture, so they smart thing to do is to submit and don't be a wise guy.

Unfortunately, many are not so smart, drunk, or judgment impaired with drugs. Need I say more ?

For trained K9 dog, even bear spray wont work, once he goes into attack mode.

If someone decides to get bit by a "K9," better off the dog bite than hurt dog and cop's revenge. You risk shooting a dog close to your leg, but you can aim at a dog running towards you, and you can put the gun on the dog and shoot if he is tearing you up.

Electric motorized bike, light weight fabric, armor reinforced pant legs (impregnated with dog repellent when punctured, max strength, police type bear spray , , and lightweight firearm with special ammunition (if allowed where you live,) and a knife, do not panic and be prepared to kill the canine, otherwise I would not ride a bike.

Problem is that 2 attacking dogs are hard 2 tackle, they bite in orchestra. If you stop to defend, they could jump and bite unprotected part of your body. IF they puncture one of your arteries in your leg, you could bleed to death. Pepper spray can also be like spitting against the wind.

I got bit by a dog once, the dog died.

Does a generation of overlapping anointed (professed) need bible support?

I know OS GB helpers. According to a previous thread, MS was already partaking in his 20's. GB members are appointed by the WT to GB after years and years of hard work, pioneering, etc, and impeccable character.

This is up for debate: It is Jesus that appoints the FDS before his departure. The GB is appointed by the WT (that is not to say that they are not FDS.)

No matter how you cut it, generation of anointed means 20 years, give or take, before 1914 to 100 years, more or less, after 1914. Hard to find anyone of that generation breathing after that. We will have to see what God means after everything is done and over, however, it is hard to believe that God would deviate from the norm in the meaning of GT generation, pushing it to the extreme limit or using some special meaning of generation not used in the Bible before. Generation of 1914 will not make any sense at all after 2017. That is the final limit. There is however a new definition of generation that I saw in a recent pub that does not apply to anointed. By WT definition of overlapper, any contemporary anointed of FWF is an overlapper, 1992+100=2092, 200 year old generation! - Just before the bi-centennial- Something has to give before 2017.

CO just confirmed worldwide construction halt and possible JW.ORG news of it

just had the co visit tonight.

i asked him if he had heard about the worldwide halt of construction besides warwick and to my surprise he said he heard the same thing.

then he went on and add that also some branches are closing and some bethelites going into pioneering but, "all because of the preaching work now.
