What is the "sign" of "Christ's Invisible Presence?"
by Fisherman inthe wts teaches, that from 1914 onward, a sign has been evident, which is proof of god's kingdom.
jw profess to see that sign.
a "sign" means evidence from god.

Not only Jesus but Moses, etc. provided signs for the purpose of convincing with solid evidence -not everyone accepted the evidence, however. The sign of Christ's presence would also have to be indisputable remarkable evidence, but such striking proof could exist in the midst of God's enemies indiscernible to them. -

Given: The prophecy is true.
What did Jesus mean? I have an app that alerts me of any earthquake all over the world. Since I got the app, it is one earthquake after another all over the world. I would not know if not for the app or in the even of a big one -the news. But it seems that earthquakes have been going ever since the earth existed.
Any evidence of 1 century earthquakes that would have fulfilled the prophecy then that the Apostles could relate to?

I really appreciate all the info. It is very helpful. Seems that the surgery is inevitable and there could be some repair issues after the surgery and the plumbing issues to be ready for. The possibility of repair later on and the nerve pain is something that concerns me. I also know little about the anesthesia. I do not like general. But thanks for kindly taking the time in sharing your experience with me. I am trying to make a decision and need the information. UK has cutting edge tech in medicine so if there are repair issue even there then I know it is something about this type of surgery. I need to look into how can this repair issue be minimizedd because the repair would be a bigger job and not something I want to deal with. -

Dances With Watchtowers - Witnessing to Native Americans
by Clam ini've had a life long fascination with native americans, starting of course as a kid who watched westerns, and then learning of about their true culture and spirituality.
i have often wondered how jws in other countries, particularly the us, would interact with the indigenous people of their country.
do any americans here have any stories about witnessing to native americans?

What is truth?
by Heisenberg inwell, i have been lurking on this site for several months and i recently decided to join as a member.
i have made several observations and would like to make a few comments.. first, i am perplexed by the attitude of many on this site that are either former or active (but apostate) jws.
they seem to have a strong hatred for the wts and also for rank and file jws.

Yes, I was a Witness you misunderstood.
Ok.
Fisherman, I used the word guessing because you made reference to doing a puzzle and using a pencil so that the answer could be erased which suggested that it was a guess and you were not sure.
Nothing to do with penciling in crossword puzzles.
I believe that I have made my point.
damages faith.
Seems to me that you have concluded that JW are not who they proclaim they are. Did I misunderstand? At this point is where someone decides he wants to part ways from JW, ok.
But getting back to my source post to begin with, which is a response to an article with a supporting scripture authored by WT and posted on this thread, which challenges the attitudes of people who decide for themselves what is morally right and wrong, - which is what our discussion is all about and not about whether the WT Bible interpretations are right and wrong in their Bible interpretations or whether it is wrong not to understand the Bible correctly and teach and apply a bible understanding later shown not to be true- and accuses the WT of sharing in this attitude, there is no proof the WT has ever shared in any of this attitude and your entire argument in our discussion is to show that the WT has been wrong in their teaching about "the end" and that is why the related article applies to WT -so you conclude. But i disagree and I have shown that there is nothing morally wrong with the WT believing and teaching that "the end" is coming and it is not the same as having the immoral attitude shown in the scripture from Isaiah they reference in their article. I have nothing more to say about this point.
