When is a theory 'just a theory'?
by HB inthe titles of cofty's excellent recent posts are all preceeded by the words "evolution is a fact...".
richard dawkins is encouraging people to use the term 'fact' in relation to evolution, especially when debating with creationists as the word 'theory' is confusing to many, and the latter often takes the discussion off on an often unproductive tangent.

The evidence comes from God not from me. What good to you is anything that I claim to have witnessed? Or anything the Bible says that others have witnessed? Why should you believe me more than the Bible?
Anyway, God says in the Bible: "And they will have to know that I am Jehovah." If a creator really exists he will prove it. If he does not, means that there is no creator right?

Smid I do not know what the laws are in the UK but WT policy is same all over the world now for close 100 years. Can't recall when WT turned some sinner to the bobbies. Surprised the UK just recently became aware. But don't you worry none. I am sure justice will be done. Watch and see how everything plays out. RC will get to the bottom of this.

WT must obey the law but they have always proclaimed that they must obey God as ruler rather than men. That is something that they have died for. And they mean business. Caesar will deal with the WT -not you buddy, no matter how much you hate them. That is what the judicial fact finding process is all about. The Courts there in Australia are dealing with the WT and it don't seem to me that they have any interest in injustice. RC means business too. Let them handle it chief. -And re-read my posts.
This is not the first time that the WT has been under legal attack. Read about it.

Overlapping Generation

his explanation of this scripture was by means of a chart to indicate an overlapping generation.. .
no scripture was used to show the overlapping generation concept, and as a result it makes no sense.. to illustrate how crazy this concept is, look at the lyrics of the song my generation.. my generation.

This ain't the same. Catholic church did not defrock and the problem with them was not the parishioners confessing sins but church minsters doing the crimes. With the JW it is about reporting sinners to the police.
