There's something deeply mysterious at the heart of existence.
WOW!!, Enjoyed that expression. Thanks sbf. You are a profound poster.
the universe can be observed to be expanding.. an expanding universe must have had a beginning.
whatever begins to exist had a cause.
therefore the universe had a cause.

it has been 21 years since the 1995 article that pretty much buried the idea of the '1914 generation'.. remember those guys?
the ones born in 1914 that would still be alive when the end of the system arrived.. i'm glad i'm old enough to remember going from door to door, preaching this belief.
the reason i say that is because i have a lot of 'still in' jw friends and family.
That, (IMHO) is a gaping hole in their theology.TD
How is there a gaping hole in wt theology in relation to the great crowd?

I would agree with you that it would be a humbling experience to face the person or persons that you wronged, (Assuming, for the sake of discussion that this is all true...) TD
juxtaposition
Why, for example, die in a concentration camp if the full extent of your hope is to be resurrected right alongside your captors???? What possible incentive is that to be faithful????? TD
....are not the things that these people are going to be judged on.TD
If they are resurrected
which is that in JW theology, virtually everyone gets resurrected. TD

What will Judgment Day accomplish?
Those who died without ever having come to know Jehovah God and serve him will have the opportunity to change and do good. If they do so, their resurrection will turn out to be “a resurrection of life.” Some of the resurrected ones, however, will not want to learn Jehovah’s ways. Theirs will turn out to be “a resurrection of judgment.”—Read John 5:28, 29; Isaiah 26:10; 65:20.

The have never taught anything even remotely resembling the notion you have floated on this thread - That the resurrected will face God's "Vengeance" in a "Universal Court of Justice" for the sins they they committed prior to their death.
I never said that: Please read what I said
'You got it all wrong. When are people going to realize that Jehovah is a vengeful God, He pays back. Anyone that dares to touch the least of his friends pays and plenty. <BEFORE THE MILLENIUM> They may repent later on but that involves surrendering and how painful it is to realize what they have done (ask Judas Iscariot)
Imagine your resurrected captors having to face you in
the Universal Court of JUSTICE (compare1)....
What in the world will KIng David tell Uriah when he must face him (compare2) some day... and too David paid an expensive price, so did Amalek, Pharaoh, Herod, those that murdered Jesus, and any entity who dares to touch any of God's friends.'

I don't know if this helps or not, but at a personal level, I don't think a system where all offenses, great and small ultimately carry the same penalty is very satisfying from the standpoint of justice either. -TD
Does It seems to you that the righteous receive a reward: the resurrection?
Does it also seem to you that by the same token the unrighteous receive a reward -the resurrection?

PRAISE GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT!
HS is proof from God not the WT.
1914, 1975 and generation teachings make sense in-spite of WT conclusions connected to the dates.
Overlapping is a disappointing explanation for a "Methuselah generation" (thank you prologos for making me laugh so much. I am still laughing now as I write this and every time I think about it.).
It seems logical that "God's Organization" would disseminate only truths from God but as I stated before, the evidence proves that God allows a human element to coexist with his Holy Spirit.

Justice. What is it that you think I'm not seeing?
the universe can be observed to be expanding.. an expanding universe must have had a beginning.
whatever begins to exist had a cause.
therefore the universe had a cause.
Logically , something had to always exist. Either that something is God or something else
Logically the then, either that Something changed and evolved into our universe and everything in it out of pure luck or the Something has a dynamics that drives it except life and intelligence -and the more I think about it the more impossible it seems,or, that substance that always existed is God, the source and cause of the universe which is the only logical conclusion that makes sense to me.
