The Watchtower are Right About Blood...
by cofty in... but, they fail to take note of one important detail.. i believe that if we are going to have any chance of reasoning with a jw about blood, this is the place we need to begin.. don't try to convince them that it was only a dietary law.
it wasn't, and they will never go along with it.. don't tell them that saving a life is more important than obeying a law, even a seemingly trivial one.
they take pride in obedience.

Cofty: Let me know when you post scriptures to support your views. I am fed up with cofty's stories.
Anyway, the scriptures are clear; Worshipers of God in ancient Israel were forbidden to eat dead animals that were not slaughtered according to the provisions of the law of Moses.

Why did Satan tempt Eve with a talking snake when he could have materialised as another human to tempt her ?
by smiddy insince the angels that followed satan could take on human form and even have sex and bear offspring to females of earth why would satan not have used this avenue instead of talking through a snake .?
which really makes no common sense ?.
why wouldnt eve question how a snake could talk?

Ez 4:14 I then said: “Not that, Sovereign Lord Jehovah! From my youth until now, I have not been defiled by eating meat from an animal found dead or a torn animal, and no unclean meat has entered my mouth.”
The Bible according to cofty : God allowed Israelites to eat dead animals, torn animals, and unclean meat ( pigs, rats, owls,) Except for priests! - Including the Apostle Peter the Catholic priest.
"But Peter said: “Not at all, Lord, because I have never eaten anything defiled and unclean.” - Acts 10:14

Tzayad actually means trapping -not hunting. The animal is caught then slaughtered. Killing an animal before slaughtering it or wounding it below the knee is not allowed for food based on Judaism today.

It does not say anybody. - Fishy
All persons, citizens or aliens, who eat what dies of itself or what has been torn by wild animals, shall wash their clothes, and bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the evening; then they shall be clean. - Leviticus 17:15
Has it now got to the stage that you need to resort to bare-faced lies? By definition the phrase citizens or aliens covers absolutely everybody and anybody.
TRY READING! Not all aliens were proselytes. Some alien residents living in ancient Israel were not under the law (they did not become worshipers of God) and were not forbidden to eat dead animals and did not have to ceremonially bathe after doing so.-- Not the Bible according to cofty.

Verse 15 says that anybody who eats an animal that dies of itself will be unclean until the evening. Nobody gets stoned to death. The only requirement is to have bath and change clothes.
It does not say anybody. Non Jews were not under the law and not required to ceremonially wash.Don't waste my time with cofty's nonsesical comentary. I don't have time to read your dribbling long commentary of scripture as cofty sees it.
Lev 15 If anyone, whether a native or a foreigner, eats an animal found dead or one torn by a wild animal, he must then wash his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening; then he will be clean.
No permission stated only restoration.
When you can show that God allowed to eat dead animals, prove it with scripture. Lev 17:15 shows a distinction between the blood of a slaughtered animal ( for food)and one found dead. It was not permission for Israel to go around eating dead animals with impunity as your falsified OP states.

For forty years after permission was given in Lev.17
Lev. 17 speaks about restoration not about permission. You conclude permission is implied. The text does not say permission, cofty does.
Ex 22:31 You should prove yourselves holy people to me, and you must not eat the flesh of anything in the field that has been torn by a wild animal....
The Law of Moses is clear forbidding Israel from eating animals found dead and those torn by wild animals -except for cofty.
Cofty's commentary is swill!
