  Punk, I can understand not believing in Jesus, that requires faith. That he truly was a historical person does not require faith.

  Thor is not a number. If you already believe that JC is fiction, you cannot be convinced. My references are only something to consider. Did not say it was proof but it is evidence outside the Bible. Also, if you don't like Josephus because he refers to Jesus, what is fictional about his account of the siege of Jerusalem?

  july 19, 2017the jehovah's witnesses expressed its plans to appeal to the european court of human rights in strasbourg after the russian supreme court upheld a ruling that banned the sect and declared it as an "extremist" organization.

  How could jw possibly loose in that European Court? But it does not seem that Russia will abide by any such Court ruling that would go against their SC decision.

  july 17, 2017 the supreme court of russia has missed the last chance to restore law and justice for the 175,000 russian citizens professing the religion of jehovah's witnesses.

  it took less than an hour of the meeting a panel of three supreme court judges, to leave unchanged the decision taken earlier by the judge yuri ivanenko, the liquidation and ban any and all registered organizations of the religion.since there is no more effective domestic remedies, the believers will appeal to the european court of human rights and other international organizations.. *note: as reported by the jworg source, jw-russia.org.

  I am looking at back surgery any thoughts on should I or not?

  back in march i fell and injured my back at work.

  my back has been a problem for many years but certain exercise has able me to function normally through the years.

  now i walk bent over with a cane and cannot walk very far, stand, or sit in a straight back chair.

  Fink, thanks for the great link. Chook, I'm with you, surgery of the spine is a last resort and only with the best surgeon and hospital and with zero odds of permanent nerve injury.The specific case should be researched so you know what to expect. If, according to fink video, surgery only involves cutting away a small groove to remove pressure on a nerve, I might consider it.

  we have a laid off bethelite with an engineering degree!

  this guy have been at bethel for 25 years when he could have been making 75-100 thousand a year as an engineer.

  so they kick him to the curb so they don't have to house him and his wife anymore.

  they run into a problem at warwick and they ask him to come back for 3 weeks.

  I reconsidered what you stated above and I must agree with you in part, it is no joke, pure science and math courses do not a well rounded individual make.
