  No it does not. It can be granted before there is trial or a conviction and only based on allegations - that can even latter on be falsified.

  But It doesn't even matter. Point is that communication is forbidden.

  not true 1981 at days must be df.

  In 1981, Adultery was a crime governed by the Penal law and so were other sex conduct criminal between consenting adults. It ain't the case today.

  human the right to speak to another human is against universal law.

  Secular Courts do this all the time. They call it an "Order of Protection" or a "Restraining Order".

  Because if they speak to him they are shunned this there right as a citizen with free speech violated.

  JW are only forbidden to fellowship with DF members. It is a personal decision whether or not JW communicate or deal with df JW. You may feel that this violates civil rights but you are wrong because it does not.

  Poopie, he does not claim that. I think he claims that the JW judicial process is unfair based on contractual relationship and that he suffered damages because of this.

  They do. And they have. It has already been done.

  Wrong again. The case law referred to in the appeal does not authorize the Court to adjudicate disputes of Religious process.

  There are 3 elements that the Appeals Courts will decide before it will hear the case: 1 Subject matter 2 Justicability 3 Natural Justice

  Case law establishes that secular Courts while remaining religiously neutral have a yellow light to proceed with cases of a religious nature but have a green light to go ahead with religious cases that involve distribution of property and assets. The Appellants argue that there is a contractual relationship between church and member that can be secularly adjudicated pointing to natural justice.

  Everything considered, it the Court decides to take the case, it cannot compel the JW community to fellowship with the shunned member and it cannot regulate JW membership. But it can -just as it did with Conti- compel WT to follow its own standards or Religious process and it can look at damages resulting from wt failure to do so ( If Court determines that it did) in this particular case because it involves a financial loss.

  Witness Royalty and the last day at the "Towers"

  my uber elder cousin and his wife got the "privilege" of having one last "toast" of wine at the rooftop garden at the towers in nyc since the jw's are vacating to warwick.

  his oldest daughter and son in law are quite high up in the inner circle so they get invited to all the "inner circle" activities.

  even though they aren't supposed to toast to anything it was pretty darn close.

  Bethel Prestige

  What is Bethel Prestige?

  I only knew 2 interracial couples in the 70's married to black females, none of which had any prestigious jobs.

  CoCo a poster here had a "prestigious "job and his overseer was the most respected non-anointed brother in bb neither of which had anything better than the rest of us except that after 15 or 20 years of working 60 hour weeks plus other work building work and assignments, you got seniority to bid to room in towers and have a room with no roommate. I only remember 2 married couples, maybe a couple more who gleaned lunch left overs. The rest bought in commissary and at the local deli. Food was cheap and the allowance covered it. (It cost a dime to bring your suit to the bethel dry cleaners.)

  You could not even park a Volkswagen in the heights, let alone a townscar overnight in the 70s.
