what “the abomination that causes desolation” mentioned in mathew 24:15 means could be understood only by close followers of jesus because it was part of his personal discussion with them.

by stopping to greet those whom they consider as “their enemies” jws are identifying themselves as “pagans,” according to jesus.

(mathew 5:43-48) thus they cannot correctly understand what the abomination that causes desolation” that would appear as part of signs of “last days.”.

Why won't god heal amputees?

For the same reason God allows wicked ess. According to the Bible, at some point in time God will act to resurrect the dead and heal the sick, etc.

God not taking action now does not debunk Jesus’s miracles.

who did Christ say was the ONLY true God?

“All authority has been given” to Jesus by God. Even prayer is in Jesus’s name because Jesus answers prayer because he is the Messiah having all authority. For example, when someone that is blind prays to God for sight, it is Jesus with God’s Holy Spirit as if having power of attorney sort of speak that restores the sight. It is a waste of time to show people that believe in the Trinity that Jesus and God are 2 separate entities. The evidence and argument and position are there. Take it or leave it. The case is at rest.

Earnest, do we have the same nature as God too? Or is Jesus special in this case?

Humans do not have the same nature as spirits —or God for that matter. As JW see it, Jesus was the firstborn of all creation, that is to say that Jesus is a creature, a separate entity than God but who is like God. But even Jesus in all his glory is not like God. Who is like God? Nobody. Not even Jesus.

It is axiomatic that Jesus and YHWH are 2 separate and distinct entities. You need to be able to understand this on your own.

up until the time of our arrival in january 1960, printing had been done by a commercial firm.

since the watchtower was then banned in france, we printed the magazine each month in the form of a 64-page booklet.

Work hard at Getting smart, get knowledge, and use your own money to make money.

Correct. And look for opportunities and seize the opportunity as you did. The rule is that the greater the risk, the greater the the returns —but you always need to factor in risk. I don’t take risks. In hindsight, I wish I had. I only invest and have always invested when the risk is zero or very close to it. When you know that at the very least you break even.
