  A new generation of anointed that will not pass away.

  obviously, the older “ anointed ” from 1914 died.

  and because they were anointed, they hopefully went to heaven.

  in the first century though, a newer generation did not replace the old.

  And because they were anointed, they hopefully went to heaven. In the first century though, a newer generation did not replace the old. A lot of the original apostles died including Paul before 70CE. However, at least John and some others saw the all these things occur and also that wicked generation that rejected Jesus and his miracles from God. At some point in time though, Jesus will arrive and pass judgment separating the sheep and the goats. 70 is a model showing the certainty of the modern day great tribulation. The question is when, in our lifetime?

  i look at tv and the media as all fiction.. i wonder if the media is now just a tool to cauterise the brain and zombify us?

  i'm sure the uk's bbc does.

  it seems to be a tool to brainwash people to buy into latest agenda or trend that must be followed.....or you're an outcast like a disfellowshipped one.

  and how about movies, besides documentaries is there anything at all, any movie at all, any new actor at all that that has any real worth to watch and enjoy or is it all a boring waste of time.

  What Name Does the New Testament Emphasize - Jehovah or Jesus?

  it seems to me scripturally speaking, that jehovah's witnesses are emphasizing the wrong name.. it should be jesus, not jehovah.

  their worms will not die, and the fire that burns them will never be quenched

  Both fire and worm are physical substances that exist in the universe whereas spirit creatures such as angels exist in another realm. Living organisms like worms are not spirit creatures but depend on the physical universe to live. Fire needs oxygen and fuel. Therefore, the verse is symbolic.

  “Although I may be the Christ, the Messiah, the son of the living God

  —but—Jehovah is salvation, salvation comes from Jehovah.” That’s what is being emphasized here.

  Jesus was Jehovah by power of attorney, by proxy. ( “Blessed is he who comes in Jehovah’s name.”) “I have made your name known.”

  full name

  Funny because Yehoshua (Jesus) means Jehovah is salvation and not the man Jesus is salvation so the name Jesus comes from Jehovah. Jesus’ name is a deputy name. The great name is Jehovah.

  In other words when addressing the Christ by his name: “Good day Jehovah is salvation !” “Is your name Jehovah is salvation?”

  “babies are little enemies of God"

  If you were being subjugated and enslaved by tyrants, such tyrants would be your enemies and their children who would grow up to oppress you in your old age and their children therefore would also be your enemies. However, if your oppressors die with no one to suckseed them, you would have relief. Or your oppressors can feed your misery to their babies so they can grow strong and oppress ( for lack of a harsher word) you and your loved ones.
