  No. You conclude that. The issue here is whether or not the act of eating a dead animal is wrong, not the penalty for the Acts. Applying eating dead animals to blood transfusions is a cofty theory that Blood is only sacred to God after life is taken and derivatively (from God’s point of view,) people can go around eating dead animals, and eating blood from living animals or humans just as long as their life wasn’t taken for the same reason the blood in a blood transfusion is meaningless sort of speak to God.

  I have already explained why that is not true. The Mosaic law states that the Israelites were not allowed to eat dead animals or one torn. I have also shown how Jews down to this day don’t do that. Just because laws are in place doesn’t mean that people will always follow them. The penalty for eating a dead unbled animal was ceremonial purification.

  “Or when a person touches anything unclean, whether the dead body of an unclean wild animal, an unclean domestic animal, or an unclean swarming creature,he is unclean and has become guilty even if he does not realize it.” —Leviticus 5:2

  If you reject my explanation, that is all I have to offer.

  The book of Leviticus is an interesting book because it applies God’s law from a perspective of holiness.

  cofty, in addition to everything that I have posted which you regard as nothing, I also referenced a WT article which also falsifies your theory. I don’t want to put the article in my own words because you will also regard it as nothing, but find the article online and read it if you wish. Also, TD’s reply also applies to you, the gentleman’s definition vis-à-vis authoritative definition.

  I don’t want to win an argument with you. I have acknowledged that you have highlighted an interesting point about 2 sorts of blood. Blood would have no atonement value at all after an animal or Jesus was killed or sacrificed if it didn’t have that value to begin with. Why not the the heart or the liver? Because the life is in the blood. You are very mistaken. The Act of killing a creature doesn’t make blood sacred to God. It is not the act but the blood because “the soul is in the blood”.

  How do you figure I don’t understand Rabbinical Judaism? It is strange to some how JW apply Acts 15 but there are reasons. And JW definition is compulsory like the Jewish or the legal. Is it strange that a fetus in the birth canal is legally not a person? It’s life can be ended horrifically with impunity.   TD answered that. To compel a definition cannot be fallacy or one of convenience but authoritative such as the legal definition of what is a human person or the religious definition of the Jews that a human embryo does not have a soul.

  WT published an article to the world on that. Mosaic law fulfilled and Gentiles were never under that law. But JW cannot eat a dead animal or strangled because it was not bled based on Acts 15 as WT interprets the Bible. So a trapped animal or one hunted and not bled cannot be eaten by JW.

  the Talmud views an embryo as only water until after 40 days and abortions are permitted before 24 weeks. It is not a human soul. The laws of kosher apply only to eating not ingesting and Rabbinical Judaism also distinguishes eating and tasting. For example it is not a violation to put pork cosmetic products on your lips and skin even if you swallow some of it. Hypothetically a Jew would not be in violation of kosher if ingesting a gallon of blood or a gallon of pork for non medical purpose on the other hand, eating some meat and cheese is not allowed.Their approach and method of interpreting the Bible differs from JW. For example, the Talmud says that King David did not commit adultery with Bathsheba because Uriah was not married to her at the time and David did not murder him either because Uriah slighted the king which incurred death. Rabbinical Judaism has nothing in common with JW in the method of interpreting Scripture.

  Compare the legal, medical, and religious authorities that make the definitions of what constitutes a human person compulsory and the hundreds of millions or more? ab0rtions resulting from these definitions. Acts infers a prohibition of eating blood but JW believes that ingesting a large volume of blood is also prohibited in Acts15.

  You have also ignored TD's challenge regarding Acts 15.

  I’m addressing it. TD addresses the points in my replies to him. You don’t. All you do is to keep reasserting your interpretation of scripture like those that conclude Jesus is God in John 1:1.
