If the children were going to grow up and enslave you. Or if you were enslaved by their parents and you prayed to God. Would you want relief or not?

How Do You Know You Are In The Wrong Religion?
by Vanderhoven7 ini believe this list which many of us worked on needs to see the light of day again...and added to if possible.. you know you are in the wrong religion:1. when the all important question is not: "do you believe in the lord jesus christ?"....but....
"do you believe in the "faithful and discreet slave" appointed in brooklyn in 1919?"2.
when you will be refused baptism if: a. you don't believe jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bc (whereas all non-jw scholars, all encyclopedias and all history books say this event took place in 587 bc.)b.

Having 'seen' the Father's child killing atrocities in the Old Testament
Vengance was not proper when pharoh killed firstborn of Israel?
“However, Samuel said: “Just as your sword has bereaved women of children, so your mother will be most bereaved among women.” With that Samuel hacked Aʹgag to pieces before Jehovah at Gilʹgal.” —“Vengeance is mine I will repay.”

How do you know when you are in the right religion?
If Mr. Ed talks back.

The currently missing 'Titan' submarine. What do you think?
by SydBarrett inany opinions are just speculation, but my guess, being morbid, is that there was not a hull breach and implosion (although that would have been the most merciful fate for them), but instead the amateur level of building this thing meant that it lost power and communication and got itself tangled in the titanic's wreckage or is sitting on the actual seabed with no way to release ballast to resurface.
terrifying.
what's your gut feeling?

Apparently they detected the implosion so knew the sub was toast on Sunday The wreck was exactly as expected - directly below its last known position
My thoughts exactly. That should have been the very first and obvious place to look. Now all of a sudden after spending so much time and money and publicity, they solve the problem after time ran out. They must have known all along. Such events are tools politicians use to distract.

People confuse and conflate and commingle what they in fact know with what they believe and what they conclude. For example if push comes to shove and one had to put his own head on a plater and your life depended on it, one only knows that God exists. Everything else related to religion requires faith. Another example is the theory of evolution that humans evolved from lower organisms: You just don’t know.

my question is this==> Didn’t they survey the mini-sub BEFORE they paid their fee?
People are foolish in different areas such as for their weaknesses but wise in other things. These unfortunate souls were blinded by their desire and excitement for this adventure: “Like a bull is led to the slaughter and a bird hastens to its very trap.” They made up their minds that they wanted to go and they did not want to carefully think about the risks and perils. Sad.

Stupid ventures like this should be made illegal. You couldn’t pay me enough money to get into a claustrophobic contraption and go into some death zone!
You worry too much. What could possibly go wrong. No rocket science needed although the engineers consulted NASA and designed and constructed the vessel with the help of the university. The ship is solid. If there is a problem it floats by itself to the surface. Very simple dive. Nothing to it.

If they didn’t want to spend the money to install good communication, couldn’t they at least tie a long string or something to the vessel just in case?

Thanks for the post. I can’t figure why no gps or a hundred or so signaling devices so rescue can track in a case like this. How dumb to make such a vessel lacking undefeatable safety features such as emergency communications for tracking . Even if the vessels blows up or something they should have built it with fool proof communication first.
