Thanks for the info Glad,.
A lot of changes and that means "I dont know" I am trying to give this new definition a chance but I just don't buy it. I will go along with it but I dont believe it right now. I cannot let go of 1914. I still believe that the GT will happen within 10 years or less, That is what I believe.

Thank you Blondie.
As far back as I can remember, I always believed that as soon as an anointed dies he receives his reward. 07 article is surprising news and so is the 2014. I will read the article, but bottom line, according to present teaching, what happens to any "anointed " at death?

Unless you can show otherwise, AS far as I know, the dead annoined are in heaven, thus REV chapter 6 in support of the 2 groups.
Let's go back to Revelation 6 ... notice as we read 9 through 11 ... [reads]. So here, the Scriptures are describing two parts of the same group whose lives would overlap - those anointed already in heaven and those still here on the earth.

Phizzy, Jesus allowed his followers to believe a lot of crazy things. He told them that he was going to return. They thought that he would but THEY DIED and remained dead for 2 thousand years and it was them that went to heaven not Jesus returning to them in the way that Jesus explained.. In the book of Rev Jesus says I am coming quickly. True time flies when you are sleeping but 2000 years is not quick.

Very hard to swallow. If that is the case then 1914 looses all significance and so does the first group. Now the focal point is the life span of the second group. I could be wrong. I have to give this more thought, but I dont buy it. Since the WTS has gone back and forth on this, they dont know.
THis definition is only temporay. But since the first group dies and goes to heaven in the twinkle of an eye, they also see the GT from heaven.
We were asked to believe something and we held it so dear and now that belief is a lie, false, error. Now we have to believe something else.
I still cannot believe that the generation that was alive in 1914 passed away.

Bats!!!!
Great Post. If your quotation is accurate, then the second group DID NOT SEE THE SIGN in 1914. That answers my question.

John, by definition, every generation consists of people of different ages. They are all part of the same generation and the lives of the younger ones overlap with the lives of the older ones from the time of birth of the younger one until the time death of the older one, during that period their lives overlap during the generation.
\For example; jesus generation consisted of interlappers too. You could say that the Shepherds that saw the angels, Jesus mother and Father, the old woman that jesus healed and the children that came to him. All of their lives interlapped during Jesus life. When Jesus spoke the prophecy this generation will not pass away to his apsostles (lets say you wnat to aply it the that generation back then), to waht group did he refer to not passiing away? The apostle John did not pass away until he saw all of the promises of God come true. But waht did Jeus mean by generation back then>?
Whatever he meant, people ages from 0 to 100+, their lives interlaped. Must one apply 70 80 120 or 40 as a pattern to define the span of the 1914 generation?

Clarity, It is hard to swallow but thats what they give us. In the artcle you will notice that the geration prphecy is the third line of evidence. They show other events in support that we are living in the last days.
