  Because she is an "elected" public official and all, and because an elected public official was jailed and power neutralized, perhaps other elected public officials -even those in high office- don't like it none. Not because of her postilion on ss but because of her position as an elected official same as them and because the power and authority of an elected public official has been countermanded and because an elected public official was jailed.

  All other issues were either settled by Constitution or by the SCOTUS ruling

  No, they haven't. The Constitution and 6/26/2015 rulings are laws. These laws do not settle all other issues.

  everything should die out

  It can rise up again, because as it turns out, refusing to marry ss by a public official is bigger than Morehead, and practiced before 6/26, and no one has been pink slipped or charged, and besides VI post, have resigned.

  Billboard rhetoric does not persuade or discourage those that oppose ss marriages, it only adds fuel to the fire. SS is not endorsed by religions, but ss is endorsed by the USA, so ss do not have to plead their cause.

  It will be interesting what will happen next week in the county.

  The glorified clerk has made powerful friends more valuable than her job. If she can be forced to resign, everything should die out, except that her supporters will retaliate for her 5 day confinement. Also, if she resigns, her friends will not need her.

  If she "presses on," the Courts will have to decide between justice or appeasement.

  Plenty of fish in the ocean, however, I have empathy. I understand. Sometimes when a person has problems he cannot solve, the wise thing to do is to go to someone qualified to help. I would. Loosing this friend should not have affected you so much.

  that don't mean people have to endorse it.

  Funny also because that is what KD says she believes she had to do. But an airplane pilot's job is to fly the plane and if he cannot fly it because some of his passengers are gaystapo, he should do like KD, stay home praying and still get paid for flying the plane.
