If a young JW girl or boy (8 years old) come to the elders about a rape, why would you doubt them?
Why even have a committee of elders to determine if a rape took place.
Besides having your opinion about hypothetical situations if and when they happen and whether or not you believe that abortion is murder, you do not have the authority to tell the church or Caesar what to do. But what you can do is to report crimes that you know about to the authorities.
Their are a lot of single moms in the organization with children, and they trust the brothers
with their life.
That sounds like a lazy excuse to have the church baby sit for their children. Church elders are not legally responsible to provide physical protection for children of congregants. If you choose trust everyone in the church with the pin code to your bank account or if you choose to trust everyone in your church with the keys to your house and if you choose to trust everyone in the church with your car and if you choose bring a young man to your house and trust him to sleep in same room with your virgin daughter because you trust him because he is a brother, and you choose to trust anyone with your kids, you are a fool. and then you want to sue the elders or the watchtower,

Read this again: Pedos enjoy 1st Amendment rights and so does the church. If you do not like it, do not be angry at the 69 year old man who is marrying a young boy under the age of 16. Be angry with the SC and the constitution. Do not bomb abortion clinics either because you do not believe that abortion is ethical; it is the law.

I enjoy your style of expression. You are able to make me laugh. I do not mean that i mock what you say. You say things in very direct and funny and enjoyable form. I mean no disrespect to you. I do understand your points even though I do not agree and we do see eye to eye on a few things. I am able to disagree with you without making fun of your position. No, The US constitution protects the speech and comunication of alleged pedos: 1. in a lawyer client setting 2. church /sinner setting.
Outlaw, every "dispicable" human being has rights under us law (even pedos!). One of those rights is that Pedos can get spiritual help from the church without fear of being turned in to the authorities. The church is not doing something shocking. It is a legal provision.

When you are talking child rape and molestation of any kind, I will dictate to anyone I please, thank-you-very-much. : )
Are you dictating the morality that a boy 16 or younger should not get married to a 69 year old man( It is legal )? Do you want to use legal means to force your morality upon others.
Child rape and molestation are a criminal charges that only a prosecutor can charge a person with. A victim or a witness do not have authority to determine what crime if any was committed, they can however accuse (or report even hearsay) someone of doing something for example, rape or molestation. Until the crime is proven, the accused is innocent and referred to as defendant not as criminal. My previous post explains that the 1st provides confidentiality to the church.The constitution also provides that teenage boys under the and of 16 can marry 60 year old men.
It does not make sense to be angry at the church from benefiting from the constitution. You can be angry with the 1st amndment. Tales, I posted more on this on BA's post on Bundy.
Tales I read your other posts, you are a very sweet person and I appreciate your feelings on this issue.

Note: I meant to add that I see your point about how someone despicable as a child abuser who is repentant is entitled to spiritual confidentiality.
The 1st Amendment does not depend on whether the sinner is, or claims to be, or is judged to be, repentant. It provides confidentiality regardless (You better repent or we will report you to the police). And whether or not it turns out that he is repentant or not (which is not the business of the gov to adjudicate sins) he is still entitled to confidentiality under the 1st and so is the church.

As usual, Fisherman doesn't understand what is going on, but I don't feel like starting a 50 page debate where everyone, except Fisherman, understands what the WTBTS is actually up to.
As usual DD does not understand what is going on. All he is able to do is make remarks about my post. (Oh that is so stupid, he does not understand, etc.) but he is not able to invalidate what I say.
