  why couldn't he have used it at the beginning and saved all this suffering?

  Better yet (as you see it) all Jehovah had to do was to kill his traitor son at the begining (that no doubt he had loved and entrusted with the future of the human race) - But DD ain't running things, Jehovah is, and He knows how and when and why to use his Holy Spirit. In the meantime, it is like being challenged to play chess, you can shoot and kill or silence or ban your opponent but the challenge would still remain: 'You are no good!' (seems that way now doesn't it? -that God is bad!) until shown otherwise.
  

  You must allow your opponent to prove his case and defeat him at his own game. Killing an opponent "at the beginning" only shows that you are more powerful than he is but does not answer his question or challenge that requires justice.

  'You you are no good.' As you see it DD, what would you do better?

  I never said that it was. I was trying to respond DD very logical question.

  obviously more evidence is needed to extrapolate the date of the tool. (Or footprint)

  That is a conclusion not a fact. The conclusion also suggest that Aa was some humanic creature. I am not convinced. And I find it too much of a coincidence for "Lucy" finder to find a million or so year old elbow sticking out of the ground.
  

  Why do you feel that my response to Data Dog's question is gibberish? It is not. And neither are my Ricky Ricardo remarks that allude to the African million year old elbow above ground!
  

  Seems to me that your posts emulate and copy the ideas of others with you failing to read and comprehend them before you post them and with no evidence of any originality of your own besides your disrespect and criticism of the arguments, conclusions of others.   If you find a wooden chair made from a 10,000 year old tree, that does not mean the chair was made 10,000 years ago. Does that question even make sense? DD
  

  I think that you are asking that if scientists found a flint tool made from a stone that they determined to be a billion years old, how would they know with any reasonable certainty that the tool is of the same age as the stone?

  If that is what you are asking, the age of the tool should not be determined using only the "dating method" that scientist used to formulate the age of the stone that was used to make the tool, obviously more evidence is needed to extrapolate the date of the tool.

  If I were a scientist, I would not go to Africa to find million year old humanoids buried inches above ground, I would go to Cuba and only after a couple of days or so I am going to find "Desi's" elbow waiting for me, sticking out of the earth. I will write books and become very famous and rich.

  I do not believe in intuition. I think it is bunk and should not be trusted prima facie. I do believe in a subconscious; the brain processes information faster than a person is aware of and uses reasons a person is not aware of, then motivating a person. But there is something physical about a person that is attractive to another person, many times subconsciously so - but that ain't intuition or is it?

  so i guess baptism is no longer the "mark for survival".. as a matter of fact, that key aspect of the 'old light' is not even acknowledged in this article.. they are just publishing new understanding without even bothering to explain the full extent of the change, hoping nobody will remember how it was... and they may be right about that..

  The JW article you linked speaks for itself, but it needs to be read.

  The "man with the ink horn" scripture that you reference in your post is only one of many scriptures that describes some facet of salvation that the Bible says is to occur at Armageddon. There are also many other scriptures that explain other aspects of being saved. The teaching of salvation from God's angelic executioners is a Bible doctrine that does not depend on WT interpretation of the Bible.

  It is logical to conclude that reality has nature, or a mechanism, or dynamics.

  If nothing existed until there was a change, It is logical to conclude that such change did not happen on its own, something caused it.

  Nothing can exist without something being eternal. Something cannot exist with nothing being eternal. If nothing is eternal then something cannot exist. Since something exists, nothing is not eternal.

  It is logical to conclude that something caused the change that resulted in the formation of the universe.
