Is there a Creator who gives a s*** about you?
by DATA-DOG in....why your child died, or you have cancer, or lost friends to a mudslide, tsunami, car accident, flood, tornado, hurricane or senseless act of violence.
why your child was molested, or you were molested, or you were slandered by an elder, or boe, or the gb.
why children die of starvation everyday, why faithful xians die every day, some mauled by dogs in field circus.

As a JW how would you answer this if someone brought it up in the ministry?
by NikL inas a jw i pretty much just went along with what was taught from the platform i didn't do any real bible study.
as a result, now that i am out of the org.
i find scriptures that blow my mind.. i am not sure how i would have reacted if someone had pointed this out to me when i was a jw but now i can't believe i've never noticed this before.

Cross reference scriptures reconcile the verse.

@Anthony Mous: "Today, the background radiation in Hiroshima and Nagasaki is the same as the average amount of natural radiation present anywhere on Earth. It is not enough to affect human health.” Part of the answer is that these bombs exploded high up in the air and all the radioactive material blew or rained away... somewhere."
Chernobyl will remain contaminated for hundreds of thousands of years. But if I was president of China, I would not want to risk the remotest test that could make me sick.

China..... -Morpheus
Very persuasive, It makes logical sense, sold on everything you wrote referenced above. But at the same time, I don't know with certainty to what extent China governs KJU because there are some loose ends and I am looking at things from the perspective that KJU is not a protectorate 100% of China (insidiously).

So let's see: The brilliant KJU had some thought provoking choices to make: Face the American hangman someday like Saddam or risk radiation contamination from underground nuclear tests. Hmmmmmm?

Prayers ,are they answered ? or is it just self delusion ?
by smiddy3 inafter 33 years as a jw and leaving 25 years ago i think prayer can be summed up with the jews praying at the wailing wall.. all they are doing is talking to a brick wall ,and getting no feed back.
and they expect an answer to their prayers ?!.
christians /other beliefs might find that funny but they are no better off.. prayer is always a one way street you talk either vocally or mentally to god however you never get the same back .. if god " so loved the world that he doesnt want any to be destroyed but have everlasting life " then whats the problem with him audibly answering his servants prayers ?

One last thought here. NK has conducted 6 nuclear underground tests in the same location. Hopefully, those engineers were right in their figuring because if that mountain ever collapses after so many explosions, the underground radiation from the atomic blasts are going to seep out into the atmosphere of NK and also travel and contaminate China and other places too. I haven't figured how it would compare with Chernobyl but what a disaster. I'm getting a supply of potassium iodide tabs just in case.

Also, since NK has threatened the US with little mat ( a small gift ) the US could conclude that any missile launch coming from NK is making good on that threat -but that is for DT to decide- and since such determination is governed by a time limit of seconds after the missile launch, the US might be able to justify military action if NK launches any other missile in any direction. But as DT stated " We'll sea."
Also, DT strategy against NK is becoming seen with pressure on China and Russia by not stopping Japan and South Korea from having have nuclear missiles which is in the back yard of Russia and China -very close- unless they cooperate in collapsing NK.

What was President Trump supposed to answer?
He was asked a question which he avoided answering.
bombing in five, like President Reagan.
Reagan did not avoid answering.Presidents are not required to answer every question that the press throws at them, specially when there are a lot of bad intentions behind the question.
I never said that US Presidents are required to answer every question that the press throws at them -for whatever reasons they have for not answering or for whatever reasons or justifications you conclude that DT avoided answering the related question. His critics won't give him the benefit of the doubt, that is the essence of my comment.
I don't see any relevance in your above statement to the fact that DT did not answer the question. And the reason that DT gave for not answering it, was, as he told the reporter, to paraphrase DT-you can listen for yourself his exact words- DT said in reply: "I am not negotiating with you." All I said was: 'Hmmmmm' because it was a very interesting question (and a very interesting reply) that has been on my mind and in the minds of a lot of people too; especially in light of the fact that KJU has not surrendered his cookies lately. Maybe, Don. T. will make KJU an offer he can't refuse when or if 'negotiating' with KJU but other than that, I can't see DT risking a nuclear explosion anywhere in the US from China, Russia, NK or anyone else with the ability to shoot nuclear missiles at us -and that could mean allowing NK to keep its toys- that's all I'm saying, and also because DT did not negate it when asked.Off Topic : BTW, I respect DT, specially in the way he is confronting US problems and attempting to find solutions.
