dimensions does a circle have? (Isaiah 40:22)
The verse does not say that the earth is not a sphere and it does not say that the earth is not 3 dimensional. The verse is not incorrect to refer to the earth as a circle. From the earth, the moon looks like a circle. And so does the earth looking from the moon or from above the earth or from any angle or direction - same as the verse describes it without giving the 3 dimensional detail. The eye is not incorrect when it sees the moon as a circle from any perspective when it is actually 3 dimensional and the verse is not incorrect when it refers to the circle of the earth from the point of view of the author of the related verse. -
