A God that cares.
If God does not exist -or a god that does not care- believing in him doesn't change things. If he does exist, then he must care and if he cares he must prove that he cares. If he proves that he cares then proof of God exists and belief in his existence is elementary. Therefore, if God exists, then he must communicate somehow with each individual human or at least try to communicate.

How could the High Priest see Jesus coming if the Parousia was later? Well, one way of interpreting the the scripture is that sometime before the fellow died: Tam Taramtam.

If the NT is a bunch of lies - end of discussion. But let's consider that The NT is true: Then Jesus was resurrected and before ascending to heaven, he was seen by few and after he ascended he communicated with Paul and John and gave evidence of his presence. Point is that there was solid evidence - but not to everyone. The ironic scripture and one of my favorites "The kingdom of God is in your midsts." -People can't see the hidden elephant in plain sight. After Jesus was resurrected, there was no main concern about healing the blind , etc. or ending human suffering. The main focus was to establish a church and to spread Chrisianity all over the world. Jesus was at first according to the scriptures with the Christian movement but then xtians became lion food and the movement continued until the sword to a persons neck transformed a person to xtianity. For aprox a couple thousand years, the movement continued all over the world through Babylon the Great using the inquisition, the crusades and other methods of conversion to Christianity. -Absolute horror! : the native Americans, the Blacks, any creature that opposed the Church, etc. -Then came 1914 to an already Christianized world, the end of the Gentile Times, Jesus appears again and the main concern is the church and the JW Christian movement.
But here is the thing, the evil that the xtian church has done does not invalidate the good that Jesus taught and did or Bible Christianity. The question is why did Jesus not stay with the church he started in 33 CE? Assuming the NT, the only logical answer is Satan, Gentile Times, -and the Parousia at a later date. ( not saying this later date is 1914 )

This isn't your thread. You don't make the rules
@ DJ I never said it was my thread and I am not making rules and I cannot stop you from posting about why you like peanut butter sandwiches, but you addressed your related posts to me and I was only explaining my question as it relates to this Topic in my posts to you; anyway, you have diverted the Topic and have not answered my question, and haven't shown how peanut butter has any relevance to this discussion. Nothing wrong with peanut butter sandwiches if that is what you like to talk about.

DJ: My only point is that your related post is not relevant to the topic or to my question. ( Not debating if it is true or false.) I was not saying that your post is trash or judging the vaue of your information. I only meant to say that if the gospels are not prophetic, I have no interest. My question considers the gospels and by extension the NT as prophetic. If you can't think in those terms, you should recuse yourself from trying to answer my question.

Remember, the writer is trying to make Jesus sound like he is foretelling the destruction of the Second Temple, an event that happened before the gospels were composed. --DJ
Then throw the NT in the garbage. -Who has time? This thread and my question assumes the NT is from God.

But on the day that Lot went out of Sodʹom, it rained fire and sulfur from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 It will be the same on that day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 “On that day let the person who is on the housetop but whose belongings are in the house not come down to pick these up, and likewise, the person out in the field must not return to the things behind.
If the above verses are future, why do the verses use language directed at the people listening to Jesus if God had no intention whatsoever to fulfill any part of the prophecy in the first century?
