Keys to understanding the Book of Revelation
by Doug Mason in· the whole book of revelation is one letter.. · that letter was to be taken by a courier and read out aloud in churches along a road that ran from ephesus to laodicea.
the author was very familiar with each of the churches.. · those christians were experiencing intense persecution.. · the letter was designed to encourage these first-century christians to “overcome”.
it told them that the end was imminent (“soon”) and they had to remain faithful, to the point of being prepared to losing their lives.. · john had gone to patmos in order to compose (“receive”) the message.

Another missile test....now what?
Nothin.
NK doesn't want war, they only want to be respected as a world power. Military force is the only means to to resist NK from developing LRM and nuclear weapons but the US won't resort to that unless missiles fly over DC. -Anyway, that is how I see it. In the beginning I thought that the US government meant business when it warned NK but NK has continued to mock and defy the US.

i heard “police.” my dog was going crazy, so i slipped outside to talk to them.

Depending where you live, someone can call a "crisis" center in a hospital (Life Line) to report a mental health situation, and they respond with a sergeant from the local PD and other cops. They can force themselves into your apartment if they have to. But the police, without being accompanied by a crisis team are not supposed to just barge in just to check up on you. -Again, depending on where you live.

If mathematics teacher made a mistake, would it mean mathematics itself is wrong!
by venus inmany people point to the irrationality in the depiction of god by the religions and their scriptures, hence jump into the bottomless pit of atheism.
in either camp, god is not a factor because religion is only a means that misrepresents god, hence religionists themselves are atheists (literally, those who live without god).
it is like saying there exists no earth because you found out your friend who taught earth is flat is wrong; or it is like saying mathematics itself is wrong because you found out your mathematics teacher made a mistake.

Even the most simplest of living organisms contain a biological mechanism that can cause it to change and adapt and to pass on its traits to its descendants, but this should not be confused with the theory of human evolution which purports to show that human beings evolved from (a) non-human specie(s) into the races of mankind walking the earth at this time.

You believe only what your senses tell you to believe? Do you think that your senses are of any use without its substratum—the consciousness?
When you are not dreaming or hallucinating, your senses together with an un-deluded understanding of plain common sense will distinguish what is real from fantasyland and science fiction. Or you can just put things to a test with a big old sledgehammer. --You can believe what you like though but proof and self delusion should not be confused.
