i'm dealing right now with veru extreme situations that most of us have been in this sect.. i've talk to the elders because i was smoking cigarettes and i stopped for a couple of weeks.
the reason i did that because mamy things are going on right now in my life.
i'm out, i don't attend meetings i don't want to do anything with them anymore but i live in a small community so i want to go out without giving attention to anybody.. the reason i told them what i'm doing because my wife is still one of them and other people learn of some other things i have been doing and i had to tell something for obvious reasons.. the elsers tho the haven't answer to me back in 2 weeks almost and today one of them called me to give me some information.

we all know the now famous quote, "all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.
" well, this point is regurgitated in the latest wt, along with yet another new bunker scene:.
"during the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical .
So, they think some RF are gonna be rebellious?
In the WT scenario this is not the concern. Only to reassure those that already have faith to continue to do so by submitting to direction.

In any rank and file system, the subordinates need to follow orders. The related is just another way of saying “ you don’t know all of the facts in-spite of what things seem to you —do what you are told.”
deut 14:21 you shall not eat anything that has died a natural death; give it to the stranger in your community to eat, or you may sell it to a foreigner.
for you are a people consecrated to yhwh.... it seems quite self evident the ritual of blood letting prior to eating meat was understood by the deuteronomist as binding only on jews..
Orthodox Jews aren't bothered by transfusions) (If your Dr. abstain alcohol... meat)
JW don’t believe in Pikuah Nephesh. And Jews don’t believe that medical use is the same as food use. Also, orthodox Jews are not the standard for interpreting the Bible according to JW.

TD
This is a quotation from the book “ What can the Bible teach us:
“Some years after Jesus’ death, the apostles and the elders in the Christian congregation in Jerusalem met to decide what parts of the Law given to the Israelites still applied to Christians. (Read Acts 15:28, 29; 21:25.) Jehovah helped them to understand that blood was still precious to him and that they still needed to view it as holy. The early Christians could not eat or drink blood or eat meat that had not been bled properly. If they did so, it was just as bad as worshipping idols or being sexually immoral. From that time onward, true Christians have refused to eat or drink blood. What about today? Jehovah still wants us to view blood as holy.”
So, according to WT, not only Noachide but also parts of the Law applies. Also, in the online library, wt explains that dead unbled animals may be used by alien residents but implies that blood may not be eaten by anybody in the context of eating unbled animals. And in the 2000 wt magazine, wt uses the word consume to describe the prohibition in the Apostolic decree. It is axiomatic that when a substance is consumed it is being used.
You stated that blood could be stored, however, Jewish commentators don’t say that.
“The Jewish Soncino Chumash notes: “The blood must not be stored but rendered unfit for consumption by pouring it on the ground.” No Israelite was to appropriate, store, and use the blood of another creature, whose life belonged to God.”— wt 12/15 2000
—Although interestingly, the proxy directive only cites the scriptures in Acts to support no blood transfusions. But the explanation of the meaning of the decree in Acts can be found in the publications. Simply put relating to blood transfusions, Abstain = consumption of blood. You define consumption of blood as digesting it and consuming blood any other way is not consuming blood.
How do you explain the decree stating that Christians need to abstain from blood?
who has more power in the body of elders in watchtower.
is it the cboe, secretary, service overseer or who?
i am just wondering since in my congo there seems to be cowards among them..
The question is wrong. The COBE has the final say and authority although a senior respected elder that may not even be in the service committee may be the most powerful because of his wisdom and experience and other reasons could influence or guide the other elders when needed. So, although the cobe officially has the final say, another influential brother could be the most powerful.
i was listening to the co talk to my wife’s congregation on sunday and pretty much the complete talk was justifying doctrinal and organizational changes and pretty much preparing the ‘rank and file’ for upcoming changes.
anyone on hear have any insight of what ‘new light’ is coming in the future?.
The desolation did not last seventy years but fulfilled seventy years
WT disagrees. 70 years applies to Jews and the land given to them by God. Land began to be desolate after the land was empty of Jews after the assassination of Gedaliah. Since the desolation ended when Jews returned, minus 70 from that date, simple: 537-70=607

Land was never desolate for seventy years.
Bible says so and WT extrapolations are based on what the Bible says.

so it cannot be used as a starting point for the 70 years.
You miss the point: 586 is not supported by the Bible as the destruction of Jerusalem.
539 BCE does not work for at that time the Jews were still in Exile and the land remained desolate until reoccupied by the Jewish Exiles.
You conclude too much. I never said that 539 was the beginning of the 70 years or of the date of the destruction of Jerusalem. I simply showed that 586 is not supported by God’s word using the historical date 539 and God’s word 70 years. I also stated that I believe that 537 is the starting point. However, since WT reference Bible qualified 1914 with the word circa 1914 as the end of the Gentile Times, it seems that either 537, 1914 or the method used to extrapolate these dates is an estimate.
Where does it say that the Jews repatriated Israel in 537? Can you prove that the Cyrus decree was on 537? And if so, can you prove exactly how long after 537 it took the Jews to travel and arrive in Israel? Again 586 does not work because it is a historical fact that Babylon fell in 539 and God’s word says that the land was desolate 70 years to pay back its Sabbath’s. That’s it. But if you want to know why WT figures 537, that is another topic. My post attempts to invalidate 586 not show why wt teaches 607.

And from things strangled
The Christian blood injunction does not prohibit eating un-bled dead animals that died on their own. However, if it was possible to extract the blood from such animal, it would be a sin for a Christian to eat that blood according to said injunction same as it would also be a sin to eat the blood-if it was possible to extract some of it-from an animal that was properly bled, because the blood -either dead or alive or slaughtered - represents the life of that animal to God. In other words, the blood is still sacred. According to the injunction, it would also be sinful fir a Christian to eat a strangled or an unbled animal. According to a WT article, there is a distinction between the blood of a slaughtered animal and an animal that died on its own. What is that distinction?
