Absolutely, there’s no way AMIII went for age or health reasons. The JWs parroting that line know it’s not true themselves, on some level. It’s more like a party line than a plausible explanation.
PTSS from the army would make the man nowdays mentally and emotionally unfit to serve. However,. that would be the mitigation behind undisclosed improper or wrong conduct or attitude it seems. The straw that broke the camel’s back will never be disclosed unless people know about it and it leaks out,Fisherman

Why did you leave the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses?
by Vanderhoven7 ini've never been a witness so i never left.
graeme hammond writes:.
for some years i’d had a growing irritation and disillusionment with the religion: i was getting tired of the pompousness, the arrogance and the control, i felt increasingly choked by their restrictions and i was drained by their demands on my time.

Tell me what biblical commands do they not obey?
Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah, 30 and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these—Mark12:29
So called christians worship Jesus, believe in the trinity, hell..Don’t worship God in Spirit and truth.
Fight in wars against fellow christians of their own church , There is even Christianity that practice 1Cor6:9,10. Believe what you like and do what you like. You’ve been around JW long enough Van to know JW theology

Are there not Christians in the world other than those affiliated with your organization that obey God's commands?
Not as JW understand the Bible:” One faith, one Lord, one Baptism”—doesn’t allow for other religions. Beating a dead horse here. We will see how it all ends.

Van, God is the ultimate judge. WT claims to be God’s agency on earth. The individual needs to come to his personal conclusion. Compared to 1 century Jews concluding that JC was the Messiah and they should listen to him. Believe what you like but a lot of Jews that believed they loved God reciting the Shemah about loving God by being at Jerusalem on Passover 70 instead on listening to Jesus’s instructions—perished.
”For this is what the love of God means, that you observe his commandment.”

Actually, she did not pretend anything. She knew where the quote came from. That's why she pressed her buzzer. She temporarily struggled for the name of the book itself. Watch it again.
Maybe, Maybe not. I qualified my comment by saying “if” she planned it. I remember all those bogus tv evangelist and their later exposed fraud, crying and everything so it is possible. Don’t confuse judging a person’s motive with with interpreting a video show.

Do you think the young lady in the video and those evaluating her perhaps love Jehovah and His Son as much or even more than you?
No, she faked pretending first she didn’t know the verse then all of a sudden she quotes it. Seems rehearsed. Sadly, that puts into question the spontaneous feeling of her tears if this was planned. I get emotional too when reading certain verses that apply to me.
If we use ancient Israel and the early Christian church as a rule, conduct by fellow believers and of those in positions of authority don’t invalidate the authenticity of the Church.
It discredits the apostate who was not convinced but dove in head first into JW. Because how can you become unconvinced after witnessing empirically the evidence of God’s Holy Spirit? Obviously, God wasn’t in the equation and that is why someone leaves and then says it ain’t true is the reason. How can someone claim they took a measurement and then say later on they never struck the rock?
The relationship is with God and that is very personal and real —what others do don’t change that.

Just read that Carl Olof Jonsson died yesterday
by slimboyfat infor newbies, who was carl olof jonsson?
he was a jw in sweden who was challenged by a householder in the 1960s, who pointed out to him that secular history books don’t agree with watchtower that jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bce, but instead place the event 20 years later.
the reason the date is important is because it is the starting date for jw chronology which leads to 1914 as the end of the gentile times, and the beginning of the last days, as jws understand it.

Any others?
Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all
26 And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. 27 For God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone

Van:
“Then David praised Jehovah before the eyes of all the congregation. David said: “May you be praised, O Jehovah the God of Israel our father, throughout all eternity. 11 Yours, O Jehovah, are the greatness and the mightiness and the beauty and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Jehovah. You are the One exalting yourself as head over all. 12 The riches and the glory are from you, and you rule over everything, and in your hand there are power and mightiness, and your hand is able to make great and to give strength to all. 13 And now, O our God, we thank you and praise your beautiful name.” 1Ch 29:10-13
