JW profess a relationship with God and being guided and backed by God’s HS, not to be underestimated . But unless I’m wrong, the wt admitted and published in wt literature in the past that they have no special communication with God compared to any JW’s experience which means that no divine revelation should be expected from wt, only interpretation subject to error and directives. So what can you expect from mystery boxes knowing this? (Assuming all of this is true about the boxes and contents.) True there is a lot of good Bible research and valuable information from wt to the JW. So exciting info to expect is about organization policies and structure and news about the org, and bible interpretation. That can especially be exciting to younger JW with their careers in the congregation in front of them but to old folk flirting with Sheol, they are looking for a date hopefully not with sheol. A surprise brochure would be a reminder of love of God and to re-affirm that the preaching work continues. It ain’t over yet. This ain’t it. I am just guessing. What did you expect?

The government will punish citizens by making it compulsory to buy health insurance paying thousands$$ or less per month. Most people don’t need to spend so much on doctor bills and medicine so all that premium money goes to help pay doctor bills for everybody —and for those that sneak across the border. The way it works out is that those with extraxtable money pay for those from whom money cannot be extracted or squeezed. And that’s that.
The other solution is for the government to socialize medicine. Then you have to wait on line for more than a year to see a free doctor because everyone wants to go. Doctors will get a salary and by the same token no frills standard treatment. Everybody is waiting on line and suffer while you wait.
If the government gets involved, they are supervising and governing everything and heath providers don’t like it and harder for the patient too.
If government doesn’t get involved then the greedy health care providers will squeeze first the patient and then the government for as much payment they can —getting fatter but the health care better in quality because more money to fund it and more incentive and interest to do a good job.
Government can also regulate prices of meds and healthcare depending on income or a flat cheap rate for everyone but doctors and other businesses need to make money and pay bills so bad healthcare quality. More people will die or get sicker.
Or leave things the way they are. But ultimately someone is paying the bill: those that have money than can be extracted.
I don’t think there is a solution to please everybody.

Is Bible chronology true?
by Fisherman inaccording to jw interpretation of bible chronology, the earliest human, adam, came into existence some 6,048 years ago compared to scientific dating of human fossils believed to be much older.
since jesus validated the creation of adam and eve as historical people and jc’s own lineage is traced all the way back to adam, bible chronology is certified as true and there must be something wrong with scientific dating.
what proves scientific dating as accurate that humans are much older than what bible chronology says?.

Didn’t Jesus teach almost exclusively using parables and allegories?
Hi vid. Sometimes he did but in his genealogy, he is listed as son of Adam and Adam is listed as son of God. A genealogy is not allegory. Also JC refers to the first human couple-non other than Adam and Eve as being created. JC is also referred to as the second Adam. And many many other verses refer to Adam and Even and the reason for death and redemption associated with their sin so their historicity is written in stone as far as the Bible teaches. -

just gave you half a million data packed scientific papers. Haven't you read them yet?
It takes a half million papers and philosophical appeals to christian thinkers to try to prove an argument?
All you need is to prove the dating is one measurement. Can you do that empirically or do you need millions of documents to explain?

Obviously, the certification is believed to come from Jesus by referring to to Adam and Eve as historical. In fact the whole story of Adam is integrated with JC life and ministry and death as a ransom. The point that you fail to grasp is that according to the Bible, A&E were not allegorical and Jesus verified or certified their existence as being created. Also, Jesus genealogy stated in the Bible shows historical characters and the the time frame of that chronology can be extrapolated to a number less than scientific dating. Therefore based on JC, Bible chronology is certified as true so there is good reason for JW to believe Bible chronology compared to scientific dating. Obliviously cofty doesn’t have to believe JC or the Bible but in order to debunk the belief of those that do, you need to prove that humans existed before when Bible chronology says so and that has not been done. So the belief stands.

Fishy your OP is THE VERY DEFINITION of begging the question.
No it is not. Simply put: The Bible says that humans began to exist some 6000 years ago whereas scientific dating says much older. That is the issue. There is no proof that scientific dating debunks Bible chronology.
