Tried unwitnessing at LDS carts today

i was walking through a market today, and spotted lds cart witnessing.

so i thought, what the hell, i’ll give him a go.

i focused on the character of joe smith.

JW current stance on Vaccines?

it came to my attention that the covid-19 vaccine works by editing the genetic code of the mitochondrial dna, using gene therapy.. you should seriously question the moral implications of allowing a part of your dna to be modified.

does anyone have any concerns about this?if anyone has any questions, i can do my best to explain.

i personally find it very suspicious how they chose to word it, and conveniently inform us of this fact "after" people have taken the vaccine..

Sin should not produce good things but that is not the case. The wife of Uriah married David ( David killed her husband and produced Solomon) and produced Jesus. The argument could be made that Jesus would have been born anyway from another woman. Also there were severe consequences for David’s sin.

Systematically, though aborted fetuses and blood is a commodity that does good to humanity by saving lives and protecting health. It seems that sin is good in these cases. If blood transfusions are sinful, they are also good when they save a human life? Is saving a human life by sinning a sin?

I had a very expensive medical book many years ago before the net with photos and drawings of cutouts of human tissue. The photos I read were very important to medical science although produced (I didn’t know at the time) from unwilling victims by the german gov. Also, the medical experiments on victims made up of Jews and others by the German gov, for example of those human guinea pigs used for hypothermia experiments, is very helpful to medical science and humanity has benefited from these cruel experiments.

All vaccinations recognised as clinically safe and effective can be used in good conscience

“..No further burden…that you keep abstaining from blood..’”The scripture cannot be nullified so a Christian must abstain from using blood according to the meaning of the scripture. According to JW small amounts of blood or fractions are not what the verse clearly means but if you choose to die, FDS won’t compel you not to.

I suppose it is the same argument for receiving blood fractions. Somebody broke God’s law on blood by harvesting it (given that it is a sin to do so) and the person accepting tiny amounts is benefiting from sin and depends on somebody sinning to live. The sinner is subject to punishment for misuse of blood but the one benefiting from the sin does not sin when consuming fractions because the end result is not considered blood but something good that saves lives derived from sin. It is not even as if it wasn’t a sin for the ones harvesting the blood and were doing a Shabbos Goy for the ones consuming the blood fractions.

Some people are getting mixed up here. In Romania there was a break away sect who didn’t agree with certain things and they were more right than the old J

Didn't say it was Romania for sure. But maybe. But it wasn’t Russia if I remember. It was the country, Sanderson described in the broadcasting and cried asking the brothers to return after government agents became elders endangering the bros. .

Albania wasnt part of the Soviet Union

Who said it was part of the Soviet Union. There was a JW broadcast about this with Mark Sanderson relating the story in tears how the gb has asked the bros that left to return to the org. The appointed elders were government agents and people just left the org. I don’t remember the country.

I had a Mormon approach me last week and invited me to his church. I declined and I also decide not to give him a reply about JW as I often when I informal witness. I’ve approached Mormons before out in service. They are very assertive snd confident with circular reasoning, equivocating and based on false premise. Can’t get anywhere in terms of logic.

What I found peculiar about a Mormon approaching me was that they usually want to Bringham Young, targeting young men and women and not middle age and older.

I remember Mormons coming in to WT literature counter in NYC and picking up some of our literature. They look like Bethelites. But I’ve been seeing hispanic Mormons and rarely someone blacks. Oh, I saw an Asian mormon. I was totally shocked. I knew somebody that was studying the Bible with Mormons and first thing they do as son as they can os to ask for 10 percent of your $$ moremoney. They are true believers though. With polygamy accepted in their religion the men can’t get into too much sexual problems which is the main reason JW are df.
