i agree with those who say that anything barbara has scandalous about the early history of the witnesses, ie: russel or rutherford times, will have zero impact.
that whole era is pretty much dismissed by all witnesses i know.

How about this? It clearly refers "coming" of Rev. 1:7 as "invisible presence".
In what sense will ‘every eye see him’? They will discern from events on earth that he is invisibly present. -

I haven't seen other articles. At page 3 it places the "coming of the christ" of Revelation 1:7 into future.

Yes, it is all documented on site owned by Finland's government. But I guess it is no use for you english-speaking people because it is all in finnish.

In Finland representative of JW's has taken part in law-making process. He has been a member of a committee founded by Ministry of Education. The committee has duty to "produce a proposition for new Religious Freedom Act". If that is not meddling into politics -- then what is?

by Moomin ini was just wondering that in the bible it states that at a time that you do not expect is the time that the end will come.
do you think that for as long as there are end of world religions then there will always be some expecting it at the correct time?
or maybe the religion or the belief that it is near will peter out due to the constant disapointments?
