  If You Were To Give A Head's Up About The JWs---What Would It Be?

  if you had the opportunity to help a person understand the jehovah's witness religion, what would you make sure they understood about the "truth"?

  I would explain the good, the bad and ugly. Their system seriously effects the 'emotional' lives of people. This effect trickles down to every facet of their lives whether their aware of it or not. They don't live 'normal' lives.

  How Many Reveal Themselves Totally On This Board?

  some feel that you should put out a history of who you are, what your life was and is like now and express it in a very simple way so that everyone can "know" you.

  we've had posters say they were elders, elder's sisters, hurt jws, etc.

  it could all be a little fantasy.

  Bullied into quitting my job?

  lately, i've been recieving heat at work for not doing my job.

  i was hired to assemble, repair, and test electronics.

  Sounds like he's 'flexing' his authority. Since your getting married and need the $$$$, I guess what your doing is the safe and a wise thing for now. You haven't given us enough information about this character. I know what I would have done because I've been in that position before and he regretted flexing his authority. Bullies are wimps.

  i just wanted to introduce myself and tell everyone that i have enjoyed many of the posts.

  i wish that this resource was available 7 years ago when i walked away from the organization, it would have helped my transition a great deal.

  i also wanted to say that it is enjoyable to come to a forum that is not on an angry rant about the organization on a constant basis.

  i get asked that question alot, some even ask what exactly my purpose is!

  i can live with it.. if i had to answer my own question, i'd have to say it broken down into a number of points.

  a. i like to see what the latest stuff is happening on the "apostate" side.. b. i like to watch the politics of this group.

  Hi Scoobydo, in the begining it was curiosity and ideas, now it's ideas. I'm an inventor, I have three patent inventions and others I didn't bother to patent. I create and build. When I read posts, I search for certain things that people say, and if I'm interested, I'll PM them. Through listening and reading I've also invented a word game.

  Enough said.

  i hate to say "i told you so" but all those who were extremely critical of those who questioned the 'evidence' do, i think, need to re-evaluate the faith they put in the powers that be and perhaps owe some people an apology.

  23 year Aussie Wins Players Championship

  ' anyways to change the flow of discussion i have some 'good' news for our aussie posters.

  this past week-end a 23 year old aussie by name of adam scott became the the youngest player to ever win the players chamionship.

This past week-end a 23 year old Aussie by name of Adam Scott became the the youngest player to ever win the Players Chamionship. He played against the 'cream' of the crop.
