  Has anyone been a victim of slander and misinformation? I have. I'm presently taking action against the town council for having an unsigned and undated letter publicly displayed. This letter was hung up in the town garage where all community workers and visitors can see and read. It's a scathing letter.

  In our last community meeting I brought this matter to the entire council members. I was informed to make a formal complaint. However, their in for a surprise. So, am I guilty?

  I agree that Michael's position doesn't look good, however, he still has the right to a fair trial. I also believe that money has a lot to do with it.

  jesus and peter used the story of flood to illustrate how god will destroy hundreds of millions of evil people again.

  If the flood wasn't global, why didn't he just tell them to move out of the region because it would be flooded? I mean, he told (by angels) Lot and his family to move out Sodom and Gomorrah because these immoral cities will be destroyed?

  i hade one wine too many because a dear friend has cancer at the age of 25 - she has a 3 year old a an 18 month old - ain't life a bitch.

  My golfing buddy past away a few months and another one is on the way out. I have another golfing buddy that has refuse an organ transplant and just wants to die, go figure. He's just doing his time. How sad.

  Snapdragon, communism has many subtlies. To make in work in North America, it can't be open, because freedom loving people will not tolerate their freedoms to be taken away from them. Take the case of guns. Gun owners do not want to giveup this right to own a gun. But who wants it and why? Communism in North America has to be done 'gradually' and in an unsuspecting manner.

  Religion has deprived us our sovereign rights and what methods do they use? I'll let you answer that question.

  Thanks Metatron. Total submission to any organization prevents one from expressing 'free' will. It's the weak and feeble minded persons who are willing to submit to such control. They give away their 'freedoms' at any and all costs.

  Positive thinking persons, be it for the good or evil, will not submit to outside control. These people will sacrifice their lives and freedoms to be their own person.

  ok, in bush's speech last night, his theme was "peace and security" or "peace and saftey" which i believe was his actual words.

  well, we know the jw retoric about "peace and security.

  does anyone here have insite on what the the bible is talking about with "...when they are announceing peace and security that sudden destruction will be instantly upon them..." .

  My present thinking is this, over the years, JW's have been indoctrinated to avoid 'independent' thinking. Why? Is it because the truth would eventually be known as to what really goes on behind closed doors? With all the news (negative) coming in from different sources about many topics, there is a stench smell in the WTBTS.

  Is the WTBTS a communist front? I ask this question because when organizations do the thinking for you, it's communism. If you do not follow party rules, your history!

  No, Herman Zweigart and the hundreds of thousands that have been disfellowshipped are not alone, why?

  I would appreciate your thoughts.

  i was just interested to see how you feel out there.

  ive been thinking a lot about all the lies and wasted time and frustration ive went through for so long now, and i cant help but wonder if anything i ever believed in is real.

  obviously the watchtower has lied and conned us all for years now, but who else along the way has changed the bible and who were the men who compiled it, and their motives?
