Did you ever consider yourself a worldy person while being a witness? If you did, what constituted worldliness?
In my days I've done many things that didn't bother my conscious, yet, by todays standards of the org. I would be labeled as a worldly person.
What about you?

A sister emailed me and................................
by BLISSISIGNORANCE in........................expressed the desire to meet for coffee or lunch, seeing as though we work so close to eachother.. i must say it was quite a surprise.
this sister is older and been a dub for much longer than i ever was.
she wasn't one of my close friends either, so the email had me curious while also pleasantly surprised.. i replied and we met yesterday for lunch.. she embraced me and we hugged.

Bill of Rights in Shambles
by Amazing1914 inlets take a quick look:
amendment i: congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances..
just see how the alcu acts when even the mere mention of god is made in school, or the picture of the ten commandment in the courtroom.

When does the "anger" subside.....?
by ScoobySnax inhaving never felt "anger" as such toward jws or the organisation myself, it is apparent that many here do.
sometimes just by reading the thread title it is clear in many how they feel, so for more seasoned posters, or maybe those who have been out longer, how long does this anger take to fade, if it ever does.
maybe you never felt like that anyway.

Scooby, it's a closed chapter in my life. I took what I can from it. If you don't want to be my friend, so be it, is my approach. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I've got things to do and I pursue them. I've accomplished many projects with this attitude. My life does not hinge on what people think of me, these very same people do not food on my table, I do.
You gotta take the bull by the horns in life. For me, it was my mom. It's been settled a few years ago, but you gotta settle it. The sooner the better.
I wish you the best.

DU29, that's a good expression, "Political Cult!" I'll have to put that in my mental notebook.
I'm into politics in my community and man, that expression is perfect.

Women Only; Aging
by Golf inthis came to my attention this afternoon, i wonder why?
"it is important for men to remember that as a women grow older, it becomes harder for them to maintain the same quality of housekeeping as when they were younger.
when you notice this, try not to yell at them.
