by home_and_dry infirstly, hello from a newbie .

some of my favorite dreams: plane flies over outdoor convention & leaflets rain down, balloon overhead flashes messages to crowd in convention below, someone paints messages on the store glass window he owns or for whom he has paid someone to do this & that window is right on the street leading up to the convention, or the same thing is done but it is simply that a huge paper poster with gaint lettering is put on the inside of the window(s), someone takes handfuls of leaflets & throws them over the top balcony into the crowds below at a convention or they start showing up in the little day's events leaflets & here & there all over the convention building. doing something beats doing nothing, when one thing doesnt work try another

HEARSY ONLY. don't know. do know it was heard that he was upset about his younger wife with another man (was it anderson?) who worked in the service dept several yrs ago. some bethelites they say got transferred out to hush it up. instead word spread when one told a beautician, also that he & C Barber were extra close guys, but that's all hearsay. kind of pale looking, clammy baby soft hands. likes to joke & seem joe friendly smiles on the stage at conventions but can be mean even bully when not seen by big groups. warned alot about apostates like Dawnists, business & money-oriented, liked some of the boys in bethel extra well, all hearsay though. what did YOU hear?

here's a thought for you. if you can show the org acts against or does not benefit human society or its own members then it may be possible to get its tax exempt status as a nonprofit org removed. what if it lost its charters of incorporation for Pennsylvania & NY for example? does the wts endanger the lives of anyone? does the wts take from rather than give to its members & society? does it deny constitutionally guaranteed rights such as voting? see.

Experience is that the WTS's fanatics typically infiltrate such protest groups, especially if large, with a couple men who yell just enough obscenities etc to frighten the onlooking JWs & misled them into thinking things like "all apostates are evil." The "I dunno man, but it sure sounds like fun" comment reminds me of how they weasal into such groups.
But what does work is for very small groups of very close friends (3-4) or individuals making use of signs with questions or references large enough to be read. For exmple you could chalk messges on the sidewalks in large print that are near the convention site.
also leaving leaflets about at or near convention sites, kingdom halls etc can help. what if someone in a van drove by a convention site & turned on a loudspeaker that presented info about the UN & pedophile scandals!

A Worldwide Rally
by cornish ina rally against bullying cults.. one thing i remember reading in steve hassans book combating cult mind control is how much cults hate publicity ie having their dirty deeds out in the open.. i was thinking to myself what do people usually do to highlight some concern or make a protest, here in the uk one popular method is to do a march demonstration and hand a petition or something to the prime minister at ten downing street, would it not be great if ex members of jehovahs witnesses and sympathisers and possibly including ex members of other cults could get together and have a large rally in the nations capital,a point of contention could be destructive cults having charitable status or something but including issues like blood shunning, manipulation etc culminating in downing street, other countries could have similar simaltanious rallies in their capitals.it would probrably grab the medias attention.. are there enough of us?.
just a thought, mayby a little over the top!

Flood Legends "Proof" of Global Flood...
by AlanF inthe march 1, 2002 watchtower contains a couple of articles on noah's flood and the application of this legend to "our day".
thrust of the articles is first to show that the flood was a real, earthwide event, and then to scare ignorant readers into accepting the jw message by claiming that our world is about to undergo a similar divine punishment.
pretty standard fare for long time jw observers.. in the past the watchtower society has published extensive material purporting to show that a global flood occurred a few thousand years ago.

In fact very commendable. Maybe the WTS never appointed you an elder but you an elder appointed by virtue of gray hairs that you either have or soon will have. :)
