Punk, just how many hands do you have?
She won't be sending herself a Queens telegram on her 100 BD, just as she doesn't issue herself a drivers license or passport.
at 95 , queen elizabeth is one sharp lady.
she lauded those people that helped break up a terrorist attack.
she didn’t take any crap from prince andrew and told him to take a hike.

this last week i stopped at an antique store that i go to now and then.
the lady who owns it is about 62 and very nice.
i was looking at a vintage 1963 ouija board.
JWs consider a marital engagement as a promise which is equivalent to already being married prior to the legal formality. As she broke-off the engagement, she broke her promise and so committed a sin and will likely have been 'marked' by a few of the elders whether or not she knew it. Some elders will often recall a person's sins, better than an elephant, even decades after a person has been reinstated and is supposedly 'forgiven'.
Since she committed a 'sin' which in itself she could not be disfellowshipped for, the elders were probably looking for anything else they could use as a potential excuse to DF.
i was seeing a jw man for about a year and a half until l broke it off with him last week.
we met on a dating site.
he shouldn’t have been on there, of course, but he was lonely.
He is a believer, even if his lifestyle and behaviour does not show it. Although he recognizes his own failings, he hopes God will see he is a good person and will forgive him. Many JWs that are the worst examples, are often the most critical on how others live their lives.
A JW relationship with a 'wordly' person, will often make the wordly person susceptible to influence and conversion to become a JW as a condition to saving the relationship. He might feel that in converting you to become a JW, would offset much of his bad behaviour. It would not be surprising that if you started studying to become a JW, he will become very devout, maybe even fanatical.
Congratulations on undertaking your own research and for not blindly thinking that your relationship will workout and be the uncommon exception.
it has happened somewhere i know.
what is it and what does it mean.
As related to Slimboy's coment, if the person who was df'd, later procured a copy of the manual and realized written procedures were not followed by elders, he/she may then have cause to appeal directly to WT. Since elders are expected to adhere to all instructions issued by WT and as WT letters and written proceedures have been repeatedly used as evidence by courts of law, WT may feel pressured to rescind the earlier determination and announcement due to a technicality which could bite them if ignored.
Although to rescind means to revoke, cancel or repeal, it is not a word commonly used by WT or JWs. Perhaps WT expect by using that word, there will be no grounds for legal action, but JWs will continue to shun the person as a 'Judicial Commitee' found the person guilty enough to be Df'd and the person technically has not been 'reinstated'.
i haven’t been on here in awhile and this is my second user name because i was busted by my pimi wife on the first one.
i have been basically awake since 2013. i have a super dub wife that i love and don’t want to lose and my sick mom in the hall that is a true believer.
stupid religion has gotten between my wife and i (of course).
you'ld think there would be a rebellion about failed false prophecy. - DoC
WT has since conditioned die-hard followers to believe the end coming in 1975, was not an organizational prediction, but was claimed to be statements by a few JWs that were overt optimistic in hoping Armageddon would come then. Even today, if 1975 is mentioned to those that were JWs at that time, most will right away defend WT by claiming WT never predicted Armageddon would occur in 1975.
Many JWs have invested so much into WT, they are unwilling to risk their investment by even entertaining the thought WT might be wrong. When WT alters its dogma and history, many of those that were JWs at the time, will deny the things that were taught which they accepted as "truth".

Consider using the other elders unloving actions to your advantage.
JWs are frequently counseled to watch their actions so as to not stumble others, but those goons did not consider that you could be stumbled by what they did. You could state you are stumbled as you do not consider that type of behaviour as being appropriate for Shepards of God's flock. Since as an elder, it seems you are expected to act similarly, then you cannot in good conscience have any further part of that, prompting a prime opportunity to resign and step back.
This situation may also provide opportunity to recover your relationship with your wife. You could claim that you recognized this type of behavior from the other elders has been ongoing for some time to other brothers. As it bothered you, you were prompted to do further research to see how common this is in other congregations. Following search links lead to the 'oppostate' sites she had seen you visiting previously.
i'd like to contact certain brothers and sisters i formed friendships with during the time i spent in "the truth", as we called it back then.
i was a member of two congregations in hawaii from 1974 to 1984. .
Welcome nikada!
Do you continue as a JW or are you no longer associated?
If you remain a JW, you could possibly enquire with the elders by writing to those congregations you previously attended.
and if you call someone a bitch , you would be fined 150 dollars the first offense and second is 200 plus possible jail time..
Maybe Massachusetts wants full control of all behaviour similar to the futuristic city depicted in the movie "Demolition Man".
Has anyone checked, have all restaurants in Mass been named 'Taco Bell'?
