  well lets look at the other side.

  kerry said he voted for the war just before he voted against it, and acted like this was a smart statment.

  Kerry may not be the best choice, but Bush's theocratic agenda is downright scary

  I don't get this when people are spout it off.

  If Pres. Bush was so theocratic, and thinking he is doing the work of God, or what ever the dems. want to say....

  He would have abolished abortion already.

  He would not alow ANY stem-cell research.

  He would have demanded the 10 cammandments stay in the courthouse.

  He would be calling Osama the ANTI-CHRIST.

  As well there would be no axes-of-evil, they would all be called Sodom and Gamoras.

  He is a man with a strong belief in God, but I do not see him imposing it on anyone.

  Backpacking and Travelling, New Friends and New Experiences

  how many of you balmpots have ever had the travelling bug before?

  how close have you come to just simply dumping everything, donning your backpack and making off for new horizons?

  perhaps you have already caught the travelling bug and already seen many exciting new places, new, strange to you cultures and experienced the life on the road, on a minimal budget.. can you tell us where you would like to go, where you have been and any stories about your travels?

  I've lived everywhere in the States. Been to France about 5 times Canada and Mexico.

  I'm considering backpacking or biking Scotland this September with my daughter. For my 40th my wife said she wanted to pay for it.

  it is one of the nicer ones of me and i saw the fact fitting that it was shot at birthday party.

  This is me in 1965, about a year and a half before my father - also seen - kidnapped me, and used theocratic warfare to keep custody. Took me over 30 years to find my mother. After looking for me for years, she finally attempted suicide.

  I have been feeling down....

  im not feeling the greatest lately.

  looking for some comfort on the only place i feel theres people who understand me.

  the last few months have been the most enlightening in my life, showing me that i can be myself, and think for myself without being opressed by a religion that obviously does not care on how their people feel.

  I would say yes. This is part of the transission. If you are shunned it may be like family members and friends dying. You may ned to morn this loss. Though I was dealing with more that just shunning, it took me years to get out of my depression.

  If like me,you have been in the Borg for years, it will be like starting your life all over again. Which can be a great thing! Being older and having more experience, you can choose the people you would like to be around you. I found spending my time with positive people was a huge help.

  It takes time and I'm sorry you're going through it. But, in time, you will look back and thank yourself for being strong. And most likely, feel sorry for your loved ones still blinded.

  Stiff upper lip! Get to gym or start jogging. It helped me.
