great question as i have always wondered about quite a few of our screen names.
as i was reading the responses, i looked at holey cheeses - king of the juice's avitar and thought about how i have been wondering for the past three years, what the hell that is a picture of.

Mine is my father and me in about 1964. Just a year before he kidnapped me. Took me over 30 years to find my mother. After searching a few years she gave up and tried to kill herself. Now, with her brain damage, she's like a big kid.

hello everyone i would like to update you guys on a small part of my life since i joined this forum may 4th.
* brother died at age 36 may 29th from a brain aneurysm (very devestating, he had no insurance -- i planned the funeral, help pay for the funeral, decided to donate his organs (wonder what the jw's feel about that one?
) cooked, hosted the after gathering, cried..cried...cried...etc.

i just saw on the local news that a jw i have personally met and whose family i know was arrested for child pornography.
he is only about 30 years old.
this is the second case in 2 months involving an arrest for a child sex crime within the same congregation (the man on the news actually moved away a few years ago).

Rocky Hill police got a tip from the Department of Children and Families that Foran, then living in Rocky Hill, was suspected of sexual abuse.
Over a year ago they recieved this tip of sexual abuse. Did the congregation he attended not do anything about him?

this is starting to remind me of my childhood.
of course, the plus side is that i grew out of most of it, but it was hell while it lasted.. jackson (our 8-year-old) had his tonsils and adenoids out the beginning of june, in an effort to help reduce the number of infections and viruses he's been getting.
he's allergic to a lot of stuff, most of which grows in texas (where we live), and we've tried allergy shots on two separate occasions which reacted badly on him.
Tell Jackson we're sorry he's not feeling well.
And sorry you too are not getting the sleep.
My daughter was born when I was 20. I feel certain I would be a better father now simply because of my life experiences. Also we are better off financially and would be able to give a child more oportunities now that I am 40.
