assuming you are the working man who makes the money, and the wife stays at home and takes care of the house and cooks and does laundry and all that stuff.. no children!.
how much would it cost to hire someone(s) to do all those things instead?
I'm a stay-at-home dad. I take care of the kid and cook, clean etc. (though the wife does clean behind me)
I can also rebuild the transfer case in my 4X4. I am currently putting in a new timing set in the 4.3. I put a new hardwood floor in our house (1000st.ft).
How much am I worth?

the recent thread about the 1975 after effects (fall off in members) got me to thinking about the ratio of hardcore, "can't kill 'em with a stick", witnesses to the marginal, "spiritually weak", followers.
for all the backtracking and double talk old freddy caused the gb with his 1975 'vision', they learned a lot about the make up of their followers and were reassured that they have a hardcore majority base that will always be there.
my guess is it is around 80/20.
I feel the number would be at least 80%. Though they may not be diehard, Bethel zombies, the situation of urgency, THE END, time running out, Jehovah says act now, will move many.
This will spur many into action who may seem, today, as on the fringe.
