So I just found this site last night. What's it all about? Is everyone here someone who used to be a JW? I used to be one wow 17 years ago. I was disfellowshipped 12 years ago. Even though I hadn't gone to any meetings for 5 years still they disfellowshipped me. That's what I hear I wasn't actually there my family was though. I'm now married to a man who was raised as a Catholic. Neither one of us are involved with any religion at all.
Anyway how's everyone doing tonight?

Speaking of myspace, I've seen comments on here about JW's and that they are not supposed to have them. I'm so out of touch with what they do these days. So they are against myspace? That explains why when I told my mom who is still a JW to get a myspace account she wouldn't but she never explained why. There are 3 of us siblings me my sister and my brother that are not JW's anymore. She doesn't really talk to us about the religion anymore.
But then I also have 2 brothers that are Elders. The family is pretty split.
They're against the internet in general, too many bad associations that spoil useful habits. (excuse me, ) The internet is basically killing them, the countries with the highest growth in new members at the moment are those that don't have the world wide web as accessible. Too much of the real truth out there.
