  Certainly, many Witnesses not only have normal (casual) acquaintances with non-Witness schoolmates, neighbors and workmates, but many of them have close non-Witness friends.

  When you have a "friend" it creates a "friendship"!

  Okay, I don't mind calling a spade a spade. Edwardo... you are lying. It's obvious to everyone that you are a Witness attempting to appear as though you had been freed from the Watchtower.

  Witnesses do not even as much as have dinner on a regular basis with a neighbor or work mate. I remember when I was forced, by my parents, to stop association with the kids in the neighborhood when I was about 9-10 years old. I remember accepting a ride home with some kids in high school. As we were pulling into my subdivision my father was pulling out. In fear, I slid down as low as possible in the seat. I knew I wasn't suppose to be with "them".

  Now above, I said, "dinner on a regular basis " because I did, once, had dinner with a non-witness workmate. But his wife was studying with the bosses wife. I went in a suite and viewed it as a witnessing opportunty. NOT as a NORMAL and CASUAL dinner.

  everything has been going well for me for awhile until tonight.

  mom calls and announces she can no longer talk with me.

  i'm sad because i don't get to see mom and dad or my little neice that's sierra's age.

  I love this line:

  "They must be clean, moral, HONEST, but with interests you would expect from other young people."

  This shows that the children on the witness stand must show themselves as NOT a JW. They are to show "interests you would expect from other young people."

  The booklet does not say, 'Be proud of who you are and that you live to serve Jehovah and are proud to be different from "other young people"'.

  Merry Christmas Good News for ME!!!!

  dear loving jwd family,.

  as many of you know, i have benefited immensely from the tuesday night vigils and the positive energy expended on my behalf via prayer, reiki, visualization, etc.. i had my last herceptin treatment on november 30, and then got bogged down with finals, so didn't check in here.

  i had a muga scan and a ct scan of my lungs, abdomen and pelvis this past tuesday as the sort of end of treatment check ups.. i am grateful, elated, pleased, thankful and more to report the results:.

  i'm worried because i sent a christmas card plus had a gift sent by ups over the internet about 7 days ago and haven't heard anything.

  i would feel really feel bad if my person didin't receive their gift or card.

  so i think we need to have an official post place.

  .......nothing happened!

  that's right, nothing happened (except for me getting a bunch of charming cards and a nice gift).. i did not become a prostitute, drug user, smurf owner, led zepplin fan, or even a wind chime lover.. i did not come down with a case of satanic hydrophobia.. so far i have not noticed any demon activity eminating from my gift, although i have quarantined it until the 25th just to be sure.
