Don French?
by Tired of the Hypocrisy ini had a sort of mentor back at my hall in albuquerque.
he was a little older than me and married.
we had a lot of fun and even though he was more " mature " spiritually speaking he was like a big kid who pointed out hypocritical stuff.

Telemarketer...take 2
by whitman ini'm sure you know how much fun i've been having lately with the telemarketers.. this time it didn't quite go so well, and frankly i'm more than a little disappointed in myself.... she asked whether my mum or dad were at home!!
i said 'no', and then she asked what time they would be coming home.
unfortunately i couldn't contain myself ...when will mum and dad get home - i couldn't help it - i laughed... i really laughed so hard that there was no way i could work with that golden material.

Just pick one subject and learn it well. Study it just like a #1 talk, or like a back call....(return visit). Then have your wife ask the elders if it's true. If it is true she will get called under the carpet.

Watchtower= Poor kid donates his only pig to Society what about you? W.T.F!
by Witness 007 inwatchtower nov 1 2007 p.17 {1889} "zions watchtower has jehovah for it's backer and while this is the case it will never beg nor petition men for support.".
"mexico... manuel says, my grandmother gave me a mother pig.....iam sending as a donation what i recieved from selling the pig.....$110 dollars..." {now i ask you couldn't manuel have used that $110 bucks for himself?}.
"14 year old girl from cameroon {another poor country where people can't afford food}....school supplies, i sold two of last years text books $5 dollars i am contributing this plus an aditional $1.82 from my savings...." {this is very sub-liminal, poor kids are donating so how much will you rich folks give?}.

I remember when I was young, They were saying things like look at the church and all there gold and wealth. While the common people in the shadows of the great church lived in poverty. Yet these people gave to the church!!

I remember a Brother King. He was imprisoned in China for like 40 years? I also was told he wrote the song from house to house. I wonder if any one knows what he is up to today?

Yes I remember the picture of the earthquake. It really freaked me out as a kid. The earth opening up and every one falling into the abyss. I always wondered what did the dog do so wrong to get destroyed?

My question to you Jw's on this board is do they assemble (build) these witnesses at this plant. And if so can you tour the plant. I am very interested in seeing how a Jehovah's witness is built. Thanks GH

Painfully Long Prayers on the last day of the 3-day Conventions.
by blkblk13 inanyone else hate this practice?
uve been sitting all day 4 three days @ this place and u just wanna hurry up and finish ur cleaning assignment so u can go out to eat w/ ur friends, but bro.
special speaker from bethel/or do has to give a one man symposium during his prayer recapping every single moment of the past 3 days.. its like they have this formula that they use to determine how long a prayer should be.

I really hated those loooong prayers. All they were another form of talks ,with a different twist. I never waited until the last talk anyway. As a family we just started to head out 15 minutes before the last song. If all went well we were on the freeway heading home during the last prayer. I got out of Dodge. I hated long traffic lines out of the parking lot. I also made sure they did not bock my car in the parking lot.
