Tech49 visits Bethel: Part 1-Patterson
by Tech49 ini thought that it was a good time to post my experience about visiting new york last spring.
enough time has passed that no one can put my experiences together with any kind of timeline..... so our family discussed the trip to the holy land (ny bethel), as none of us had ever been.
anyone who is anyone knows that you aren't really a good jw christian until you visit bethel!

holy sh*t i just found out that my wife is thinking of getting baptized
by greenhornet inyes to the morman cult.
she wanted me to to go to there meetings and i said no way.. i stumbled upon a email of hers i was not soposed to read.

Thinking of joining the Masons

im always leary about cults and joining groups.
but the masons seem ok too me.. i want to join because of new freinds and just network with people.

I want to join because of new freinds and just network with people. I did like most of the Jws when I was young because of the networking. But now I know they are are just conditail freinds ETC. you guys know am not going to preach to the chior. You all know what conditail freinds are.

For sisters if your being raped call out Jehovahs name and make sure you scream. (If you dont scream you will be DFed) I told this to my wife and she said that is really BS. If my wife was in that that situation it would be a douple tap in the heart and two in the head. Then she will call 911. She is really good with her Sig Sauer.

Well that was me 20 years ago. All i did was change my phone number, never answered the door. In fact un pluged the door bell. My Kids and close freinds had a key to the door to let them selves in. It took about a year but they got the message. I just went cold tukey. Now I live in a diferent city with a new wife. When they call, Im just another house holder that says "Im not interestand"

Forum Owner and Member Integrity
by Simon insome people recently raised concerns about security of the site relating to whether forum members could be watchtower plants trying to obtain information about people.
apparently, this was because a previous forum that was setup was either owned by or later handed over to someone who used it to collect personal information about people which was then used to harrass them.
i don't know all the details, i'm just paraphrasing what i've heard and recognize that it's a concern to some people.. i want to first of all put people's minds at rest: i've been running this site for what will be 13 years next month.

some of you mentioned that you are going so that you can set some sort of example.
i gather that some of you believe that by going and eating, you are somehow showing them they can (or should) do it too.. that really confuses me.

After 15 years it is very easy for me to "forget" to go. In fact I have no idea what the time and date is anymore. And if I do go show up I don't know anybody.
