My old congregation is being shuttered

i just found out from my jehovah's witness cousin that my old congregation is being shuttered due to lack of elders, less than 20 members attending, and that the congregation cannot meet their monthly expenses.. here is a congregation that was started in 1975 with less than 15 members.

it grew to 185 members in the 1990's.

the congregation grew so large that the elders decided to split the congregation in two.

My mom would break and throw my records. I had Credence, Beatles Hendrix and many more. So I would put my records in her Lawrence Welk music album covers. She found my records again and broke them in two, however she broke up her records.

UK Hospital using Kingdom Melodies - complaint

i found out that a uk hospital (nnuh) uses kingdom melodies as hold music, apparently for some years!

i called and heard it myself.

i wrote an email to the complaints team and await a response.

Years ago I installed a phone system for a Jw that had a travel agency. She had me use an old CD player with kingdom songs on repeat for the music on hold.

Gun Ownership - A question for American Witnesses (or Ex-Witnesses)

i would like to ask a question regarding gun ownership in the active american witnesses community.

while rifle ownership has been put in the same category as spear guns and fishing rods, how has the issue of pistol ownership been handled in us congregations?

Owning a firearm is poo poo unless it is a hunting rifle. When I got out of the Watchtower I went on a collection of pistols, carbines and rifles.
