The thing with marmite is its best to have the SMALLEST amount spread on toast, less is definitly more. Tasting it from the jar would be a bit vomit inducing I feel.

It's cases like this that make me support the death penalty...

Sorry I guess that didn't come over very well.
The point I was trying to make was you are willing to judge this case and say she should die based on the few facts you have read, with out knowing anything about her mental state, and have stated that her mental state wouldn't change you opinion.
You seem more worried about what she looks like than any mental probalems she may have.
By the way the same picture is on page one of this topic ! ! !
I&P, she definitly needs a make over. -

Some times the reasoning on this board makes me laugh.
One of the symptoms of mental illness is often paranoia and mental illness can go on for months, but you are obviously well enough medically trained to say she was "cunning, devious" and "She knew full well what she was doing".
If evil has a face, that woman is it. " - Rodbar
And she doesnt have the face of a mental ill woman who has let her self go a bit ? I have seen worse picture of Picture of Movie Stars who left the house with out doing their hair or make up.
But no, I guess you are right, She is UGLY and because of that she deserves to die. -

Surly this woman MUST be mentally ill ? If she is can you really suport killing her due to actions she took when she was unwell ? True she needs to be locked up for the rest of her life, but taking her life seems a bit hipocritical.

What first gave you doubts ?
by rick1199 inwe all know the big problems with the wts, but what was the first thing that made you realise there were problems with the organisation ?
with me it was realitivly small stuff like an 8 year old getting baptised and a comment my best mates made about another of our friends asking if we should be hanging round with her as she might be bad assciation (she had just been reproved, but they had been mates 20 years).. .
how ever the first time i ever thought something was really wrong was when i was about 11 and my grand farther died, and mu mum wouldn't go to the funeral, i remeber thinking that surely it was better to say good bye properly than worry about if the service was in a church.. .

FDS Sends Convention Delegates Packin'
by ezekiel3 injehovah's witness across north america are being sternly counseled at this week's service meeting that they should pack lunches during the 2004 dictrict convention instead of leaving the site to eat elsewere or return with food.
in a letter read during the announcements, members are told this is a "serious problem".
reportedly jws have been banned from some convention locations because the venues want concession stand business if jws insist on bringing carry-out meals into the facility.

Seems things are easier in the UK.Here they have an FM broadcast of the program for eldarly and infirm, but it also means we could go and sit down by the river. Suprising how difficult it was to find the program though ;)
Also they have never tried to tell us what hotel to use, true they have a list, but no one really uses it.
We always had a burger van and ice cream ven on site too. Guess these had a licence and there was no way they could be removed.
And finally you should see the amount of people that head to the nearby super market to buy food at lunch times. I'd guess 90% of the audience go some time over the weekend.

So is anyone else going to watch the eurovision song contest?
by BLISSISIGNORANCE insunday night..................it's on again!.
every year my family keeps tradition and we watch hours of hilariously bad/not so bad european pop music.
from remote places like estonia to malta and germany, it's on for young and old.. we usually invite fellow esc fans/friends and we consume good wine, watch the show and have a fun night.. abba launched into their career by winning eurovision in 1974 with 'waterloo'.. here is the web site.......................enjoy.

I will be watching it. A mate of mine is having a big party and will fill his house up with people watching it. And yes he is gay, and so am I.

abortion...Do parents have the rights to know..
by Brummie in..if their young daughter is going to have an abortion?

You all seem to think the parent should be told, But what if the parents are JWs ?

1. No chance of even considering an abortion.

2. The young Girl would be forced to discuss her Sex life with at least 3 Elders.

3. Loss of friends, either due to being labled a bad association or being disfellowship.

4. Lots of stress.

While I agree that in most cases the parents should be informed surly we can all understand why it is some times best not to.
