  i understand that bem was involved in a car accident a couple of days ago and she's suffering from some broken ribs and a broken toe and is in a great deal of pain.

  in addition, her car was totaled.. ((((((((((((bem)))))))))))) sending gentle hugs your way, my friend.

  please take care of yourself and i hope you heal quickly and are back with us very soon !!.

  lets just spare a thought for the tiny tots and older kids who won't be enjoying any christmas festivities this year.

  no parties, no presents, no santa, no fun, no carols no anything.

  it's a damned shame that kids miss out so much.

  Good topic Mike - I feel so badly for the JW kids in schools now. Its not just the presents thing, there is also all the christmas crafts and practise for the christmas concert which is beginning now, and they cant join in with any of it when all their classmates are so excited

  stuck in the middle of friggin nowhere,actually 50 miles north of nowhere!(lol!

  ) so far i`ve survived fire storms,drought,floods,snow storms,wild animals,bin robbed and left for dead.this just isn`t any fun (lol!

  ).i`ll be making my way back to civilization shortly.i`ve found a public library to post from,thank god and simon,my ciber home is still here..so how`s your day been going?...outlaw

  o.k., this is a long story.

  i was married to a jw, (i am a jw) he left me, and i begged him not to go, he went to where his x-wife lives for work, he says he spent the weekends at her place, but didn't sleep with her.

  3 months later, he came back, and i let him stay, then he left me again.

  You DON'T Have To Listen To The Elders If They Say They Want To Meet ....

  everyone that is in the process of leaving dreads the thought of having the elders approach them, call them, etc.

  the fact is----just because they say they want to meet with you or just because 2 elders stop by to visit you----you don't have to deal with them at all.

  simply tell them you won't meet with them, you won't talk to them.

  They will sometimes take refusal to meet with them as disassociation. Thats what is happened to Simon, he then appealed and met with then for 3 hours and they upheld the decission that he had disassoicated himself on the grounds of refusing to meet with them work that one out
