I could always knock up a quick survey page...maybe a weekly poll and graph the results.
How about a first poll - who thinks the poll is a good idea?

How about a survey?
by AhHah ini thought it might be interesting to post a survey for those who post on this forum.. perhaps it will provide a basis for some additional stimulating discussions on god and religion.. with that in mind, i have posted a survey of 10 yes/no/unsure questions on the bible/research forum.

Tishie & RHW - Thanks for the tips, I'll have a look at ordering some Anne Rice books in a few weeks after we've been on our hols. I've been saving Stephen Kings IT to take away because its nice and thick and should last the holiday.
Tishie I also get a fix on one author and have to read every book they have written Dean Koontz is my favourite, if you've not already read Strangers I recommend it.

Seven: I've never played those but will have a look out for them.
I also like Doom2 but its a bit out of date now Simon replaced it with Quake which I'm hopeless at, will have to make him put it back on.

Thanks Martini and everyone else for the warm welcome.
I also love Dean Koontz and Stephen King, Simon will tell you that Amazon is my second home, another good author is Stephen Laws I've only read three of his books but they were amazing, for some reason I can't seem to find any of his others anywhere.
We are currently going through the shunning routine with some family members and the congregation - it certainly shows you who your real friends are.

So THIS is where everyone went!
by Spock inokay i figured it was time to "widen out" cybernetically speaking.
i am inactive now but have 28 years of jw experience, including bethel, ivcw, pioneering, eldering in spanish congregations, and "need greater" (unofficial missionary) time in paraguay (the country's only german-speaking group) and in dominican republic.. now that i've established my rather impressive credentials, allow me to bestow the formal vulcan benediction to all (if i can do it right).. <img src=" http://www.egreetings.com/e-products/m_postreply/card_gif/epgi1400.gif">

ARE JWs Snoops?
by Zep inon the the back of awake june22 is a short little story!.
last year, in maryland, u.s.a, a man politely refused the wt and awake magazines.his younger, however asked if she could have them, and the father said that she could.the two cleaning their car and putting trash in a nearby trash container[in other words a dumpster].
concerned that the magazines might be discarded, the witness who offered them decided to return later[in other words late at night/early morning] and check the container[container is such a nice word...but in reality its called a dumpster...].

Can you imagine how many thousands of out of date Watchtower and Awake mags are under peoples beds and in cupboards because no one wants to commit the ultimate sin of throwing one away
